If your one of those people that like 'spontaneous relationships' then he's the guy. You'll just be sitting in your dorm studying then all of a sudden

It takes you 10 minutes to translate his texts and he gets pissy if you don't text him back.

Gets paranoid when he doesn't know where you are. Cause you know Mr Jefferson is a creep.

Midway through writing this, I just realised how alike Chloe and Nathan are. I know it was said in before the storm but I mean in both games they are very similar.

Your name in Nathan's contacts is "my whore ❤️" as a joke. And yes he will call you that regardless of your gender

You both probably broke into the school in the middle of the night and pulled a Chloe and Max by going into the pool.

He drags you into things that he knows will get you both into trouble because it's fun (and because of him you can get away with it)

You probably get the most random texts and the weirdness times. And you'll know if it's serious if Nathan uses actual words

And you know when he's mad because he'll text in all caps like he's screaming on the phone. If something bad happened that piss him off he instantly goes to you.

The type of dude to say you were desperate to date him when actually his loneliness made him desperate to be with you without realising it

To be in a fully committed relationship with Nathan you two had to been good friends and got to the point where Nathan can be assured that you aren't using him (which takes a LONG time) before you get into a romantic relationship. Sure he got drunk and had hook ups but he never had romantic feelings let along a long term relationship.

When Nathan gets explosive he has a difference between needing comfort and needing to be alone. If he walks off it's better to let him on his own and wait for him to come back when he's ready. It depends on how the explosive episode happened (if there was a reason) and what kind of relationship you have.

And usually after his outburst he either cries in his room or comes to you crying out of frustration and guilt. If it's the relationship where he has less doubts that your using him he's more likely to come to you rather then you come to him.

(Keep in mind I am not a professional doctor, do not use this book to deal with someone who has explosive episodes just because someone on the internet said it)

There have been a rare few times he slipped up about his situation with Jefferson as it eats him alive and not having anyone to talk about it, it bottles up and slips out. Not enough slip outs for you to understand what was going on.

He has a habit of 'buying' his friends so when you first met and he felt like this could be a friendship he gave you rich things (especially it your not in higher class) to impress you

Despite all the money he wants to spend on you he actually prefers takeouts and sitting on the beach having a beer.

I recently found out that whale watching is a thing and I think it's a cute idea for a date. Especially because if your on a ship it gives Nathan a chance to get away from Arcadia Bay and everything.

Nathan doesn't find the right words or actions to say he cares about you so if you notice little things. For example, he'll try and look ✨fresh✨ for you. (I'm sorry)

I feel like if everyone (Max, Chloe, Nathan and you and warren) were just  one big friend group it would be.
・Chloe and Nathan being the chaotic friends that constantly get into shit together
・you and Max basically being the holder of the leashes to those dogs
・Warren and Nathan would have a love for movies and everyone would watch movies on Nathan projector, then talk for yours about the movie
・Chloe and Nathan have a shared taste in rock music
・every morning it's two whales for breakfast
・warren be like 'fuck out my way when you see me, I'm rolling with the LGBT' cause he's the only straight person there (his sexuality, or anyone else's, isn't confirmed its just my headcanon)
・I feel like Max and Chloe is more of a cottagecore while you and Nathan are a cabin in the woods type of thing (if he wasn't spoiled rich) and warren lives in a flat
