I don't agree with the idea of 'William abuses his children' so don't expect anything toxic

⚠️you bottling up anger, bursting out emotions, breaking and smaking things in anger, parents divorce⚠️

You were the opposite of your dad. Your dad was open and euthusiastic and didn't hesitate saying his opinions and thoughts, he was a leader and managed things well. After all those charactistics were needed to have a company of your own after all.

You weren't like that, you were alot like your brother in a way (crying child). You were quiet and shy you tend to hold back your disagreements with opinions and hold back your anger. William always joked that it must of came from your mother's side.

Your shyness and bottled up emotions manifested at a young age during the time your parents got divorced. Even at a young age you could see they fell out of love but the sudden change still surprised you. It was also around that time when Michael became the rebelious teenager, not that his change in personality affected you.

William obviously took notice about your personality and bottled up emotions, he noticed from your random slips of anger with little things then you instantly feeling bad. Or about how when people come up to you, you hide behind his leg hoping he could answer for you.

He would rather you let them all out yourself instead of him pushing it out of you. He most he could due about the situation was make you as happy as he possibly could and hope that could help.

But because of Michaels new rebelious phase and starting fights with William as well as William being overly busy with work didn't help. William actually felt guilty that he couldn't do much about your emotions.

William had mixed feelings, should he wait or should he confront you about it? Would that just make you more angry and then bottle up more emotions.

After a few months, he didn't like seeing you suffer like this. Everyday you got more and more angry about everything, the divorce, Michael making fun of your brother, school work, people always coming up to you, people telling you to speak up, dad constantly at work, everything.

So one day William let you off school while all of your other siblings were away and he finally got a day of work.

William walked in the living room where you were sitting on the couch "hey kiddo I wanna talk to you about something" you could tell from the tone of voice that it was something serious.

William sat next to you on the couch "it's nothing bad I promise, I've just noticed how you bottle everything up. That isn't healthy and you shouldn't bottle up your emotions like this, it will just build up"

You didn't look at him in the eye almost as if you were ashamed about it.

"It's nothing to be ashamed of just- here" he pointed at the remote in your hands "think about anything that has been making you angry and just throw that remote at the wall"

"Wha- but" "you aren't going to get into trouble for it and you want those bad emotions to go away right" you nodded "then just stop worrying about everything and throw it"

You paused for a minute before throwing the remote, channeling some of your angry into it and making a dent in the wall.

It wasn't before long you just started breaking everything, the vase that your mother left behind, that dumb tv that Michael spent his time watching instead of your brother, the curtains that you had to watch your mum leave from.

After a few minutes, the adrenaline was all out of you and you were sitting on the floor panting from exhaustion and also crying as you remembered all the bad things. You felt so tired.

William got off the couch and lifted you up into his arms while hushing you and telling you that you did good.

"You must be exhausted huh?" you nodded your head the tears now drying up on your face.

William took you to your room and laid you down on your bad and under the covers and kissed your forehead before leaving you to fall asleep.

He went back to the living room and looked at the mess, everything was destroyed and glass pieces and vase pieces were everywhere. So were the clay pieces once used to carry the flowers on the window sill. That old grandfather clocked was now of the floor.

William didn't care though, he was rich so he could easily replace it. No point crying over spilled milk as they say.

William just cleaned the whole living hoping he'd be able to finish before you woke up or the kids got back so nobody would step on sharp objects.

It took a few hour but everything was clean, sharp shards were off the floor, the tv and the clock were thrown out in the back garden until he could put it in a bin another day. All that was left though was the holes in the walls, he should ask someone later to patch them up.

Bonus

Michael walked in the house pissed off that he had to take his siblings home instead of hanging out with his friends after school.

He didn't expect the whole living room to be almost empty though, seriously where was everything? And where did those holes in the wall come from?

As all 3 of the kids looked around their dad came from the kitchen to the living room

"What the fuck happened?" Michael asked

"Language!"
