it was the middle of class and it was your least favorite. amy and tails were in the same class with you, but still, it's an eyesore! the lessons were so long, no one understood the teacher's accent, AND this was all pointless!
most of the nights you would stay up late to study for some other of your studies, so that's why when amy saw you doze off, she tired kicked your leg, for her being just in front of her.
it worked for a moment, but you placed your head back on the desk and closed your eyes.
class ended and tails was the one to wake you up softly. upon awaking, you felt the eyes of amy and tails on you as you stood up tiredly.
"y/n? are you okay?"
your eyes glanced over to amy as you heard her ask how you were. you slowly nod and walk out of class, struggling to keep yourself up.

amy offered to walk you home. at first, you refused, but amy insisted. so without having another choice you allowed her to walk you home.
"so...about that assignment for english-"
"we had an assignment?"
amy looked at you with a shocked expression. "y/n! this is due in two days!"
you just sigh and roll your eyes.
"i'll just say i forgot about it-"
"y/n- you used that excuse last week..."
amy and you made it to your place and you jiggled the lock on the door and walked inside your dark home with amy behind you following closely. you turned on the light that was beside you and the door hallway lit up slightly.
you both took off your shoes and got comfortable.
"y/n, have you been sleeping?"
"yeah- of course!"
"i mean at night...not in class..."
you stayed silent, a small yawn escaping your lips.
taking your silence as an answer, she took your hand and dragged you to your room.
"what-where are we going?-" you asked as amy closed the door and fluffed the pillow. she motioned you to sit down and lay on your back. sighing, you had no effort to fight so you just allowed her to drag you down to the bed.
she soon sat herself ontop of you and placed her head on your chest, her hands combing through your fur/quills/feathers.
a soft hum echoed the room and amy giggled.
"why don't you sleep- y/n?"
you looked to your girlfriend and sighed.
"i don't know...it's kinda hard..."
as you spoke, your eyes began to droop and close. amy smiled to herself and pecked the tip of your bottom lip.
