"y/n/n....." the voice of your roommate sonic could be heard over the music of your headphones. removing them from your ears, you smiled when you saw sonic walk in, but it soon faded once you saw the small frown on his face.
remembering he was babysitting cream for the day, you sighed.
"what happened now? did she trip and fall down the park's stairs to reach the slide?" you asked, putting aside your textbooks for school.
"worse..."
"y/n! y/n!" creams voice echoed through the household and you smiled.
"cream, my little- AHAGAA!"
when you saw a cream enter your room, you screamed when you saw a raccoon in her arms. it was thrashing around her tiny body and she smiled up at you.
"THE HECK IS THAT-?"
"it's a raccoon..." sonic said blankly.
"yeah, i can see that dipshi-"
"mrs. y/n, may we keep him?"
"HIM??? YOU GAVE IT A GENDER!" you yelled and cream smiled.
"and a name!"
"sonic, what did you do?"
"well, me and cream were just at the park when all of a sudden she found a raccoon by the trash. she was somehow able to catch it and before i could even freaking blink, she ran away."
"your fastest fucking thing alive!! how did you not catch her!?"
"oh i don't know, maybe it's because she can fly!"
"hey, don't give attitude!-"
"where'd cream go?"
you and sonic look back to where cream once stood, only to find her gone. "don't raccoons like trash--"
sonic and your eyes widened before you both scurried out of your room and bolted down the stairs. ending with you both falling down the stairs with loud thumps.
"ow!" sonic yelled when he felt you get off him and ran to the kitchen, only to find trails of trash leading to the living room.
"oh c'mon-"
as sonic was standing up, he has knocked down once again when you pushed him back down as you ran past him to the living room.
"move. man!"
"AHAAHHGGA-!" *thump*
"cream! where are you young lady!" you yell once you entered the living room to find it trashed...ALREADY!!? HOW? YOU JUST GOT DOWN HERE!
you soon heard crashing was heard from the upstairs washroom.
you guessed it...
"y/n! can you please let me stand- AGAH! OW!"
reaching the bathroom you found cream about to jump out the window, before she knew it, you grabbed her by her waist and dragged her back down.
"mrs/ y/n, the raccoon is getting away!"
"good! cream, hun, you can't bring wild animals into the household without parental permission..."
"but...sonic-"
"i said parental..."
all of a sudden, tails could be seen walking in the washroom with a nervous look on his face.
"so....sonic told me about the raccoon..."
"oh god, where'd it go?"
"shadow found it..."
"😐"
"he's going to kill it..." tails finished, and looking out the window you could see shadow by the front with his gun chasing the hissing raccoon with it.
"AWAY DEMON!!"
"SHADOW IT'S A SMALL, LITTLE ANIMAL!!" you called out, not wanting to scare cream.
"YEAH, AND IT'S ABOUT TO BE IN A SMALL, LITTLE HOSPITAL!!"
