"y/n, we have a BUNCH of plushies at home-."
"well just because that may be, who says it bad to have more!"
sonic and you had only arrived at the town's carnival for a fundraiser for sick children at the hospital. so upon arriving, you immediately ran towards the games where you can win plushies and stuffed animals.
sonic then realized what he has done by bringing you here. of course, he didn't want to be mean and just not invite you, but he never realized the outcome he will unleash.
a plushies monster.
"shadow said he'll come, where is he?" you asked as you and sonic walked along the paths of the carnival, you looking for the ebony hedgehog while sonic just took bites out of his cotton candy. "y/n, he's shadow. what did you expect...of course, he didn't sho-"
sonic was cut off by you smiling and calling out, 'there he is!'
looking up, sonic saw shadow walk over to you two. you smiled as you run towards him and jumps into his arms, causing shadow to act quickly and catch you by holding you up by your thighs as your legs were wrapped around his torso.
"jeez- y/n, i could have dropped you!" shadow scolded the young girl as she jumped off him. "but'cha didn't, now did'ya!" you smile to him as he just 'hmps' and crosses his arms once he saw sonic make is way over to you and shadow.
"hey, shads! didn't think carnivals were your thing."
shadow looked around before looking back to your smiling figure.
"well it would be rude to deny an invitation from the person who invited you, now would it."
"and here i thought you were nothing but rude..." sonic teased, causing shadow to growl at the blue hedgehog.
"how about i show you just how 'rude' i can get-"
you grabbed shadow's arm as you stood in front of sonic.
