In Chapter 6, Rowan was afraid to enter the magistrate's building. In Chapter 7, after Gale had explained that the cell he'd ordered her into was to protect her from any magic that the dragon turtle might have used on her, Rowan felt foolish for having been afraid.

Think back to a trial or hardship that you or your family has faced. Looking back on it now, do you view your fears of that time as foolish? Why or why not?

If you had known then, what you know now, would you still have felt afraid?

I want you to know that, whatever trial or hardship you're caving in your life right now, God is working behind the scenes to make this for your benefit, just like how Perrin had arranged for Rowan's care with Gale. Even though Rowan didn't know what Gale was going to say to the Magistrate, Gale had it all under control!
