I won so many times against the catalyst. None of it would matter, though. As many times as I would strike them down, they would rise again. They would get close to hitting me at times, but would never land a single blow. Many slashes and clashes were had and none of them would have any meaningful impact. Then, the catalyst managed to strike me. I thought it would be over since most other monsters would fall to just one of their blows. To my surprise, it was but a small cut on my body. "Well. Heh. You're going to have to hit harder than that." That moment filled me with something. I wasn't going to die any time soon. I was filled with determination. "Now then, let's dance." I took more risky maneuvers, knowing I could take them without worry. I was incredibly flashy with my movement and added flourish to my attacks. For a while they were somehow more effective than normal. The offensive would not stop with me taking only a few hits. I just kept going, never stopping. The hits on me did add up and I felt that I had lost some blood. The catalyst had an odd look on their face, like I wasn't supposed to bleed. That makes sense, I suppose, as they had only fought monsters before. I felt that I had taken more than I had bargained for and was ready for my finale. "Not bad, kid. Not bad. We've been playing around enough. Farewell." I ready my final attack, preparing for the inevitable. "And so, the end is near. I face my final curtain." I sung my lungs out, despite having lost some blood. "The record shows I took the blows and did it my way!" I cast a great fireball, no, beyond great. A fireball to rival a supernova was cast upon the world, yet contained within this small space. My vision faded in flame, and yet, I remembered something else after what I assumed my death with uncanny clarity. "Greetings. I am Chara."  I recognized Chara's speech from the end of a genocide run. "Now, let us destroy this world and move on to the next." What happened next was odd, to say the least. The catalyst swung at Chara. "Now now, you sorry fool. Since when were you the one in control?" The catalyst was torn to shreds by ethereal blades and my senses finally faded. "Hey, Azatiel, you're not done yet." "Azatiel! Stay Determined!" "Wake up! It's all a bad dream!"
