Days turned into weeks and weeks into months. Chara and Asriel became like siblings as I taught them swordplay and magic. The one day I dreaded soon came, though I would not show it. Chara and Asriel would bake a pie with buttercups instead of cups of butter. An ultimately fatal mistake that would lead to many events to come. Asgore was the one who fell victim to the pie, but he would recover in a week or two. A few days after he recovered, I would talk with Chara. "Hey." "Hello Azatiel." "I've been meaning to ask, you are feeling well, yes?" "Of course. Why wouldn't I be?" "I'm sorry, it was an odd question. Though, I must know. What do you plan on doing in the near future?" "I'd say that is an odder question. I don't plan on doing anything much other than what I've been doing." "I see. Thank you, Chara." We then went our separate ways for a time. A few days after that, Chara suddenly fell ill. Everyone took notice of this. "Are you all right, Chara?" Asriel asked worriedly. "I'll be fine." Chara said with a drained voice. "Hmm, I've got something that could work." "What?!" Said everyone in shock. "I know healing magic. I understand that no monster here knows of it, but I can give it a shot." They all backed away from Chara and allowed me to advance. I reach out and manifest a book of miracles. "Now then, let's see here." I read through the contents and find a miracle that mostly matches the situation here, a prophet curing leprosy. "This should work." I read the miracle aloud and reach over to Chara's forehead. I finish the reading and remove my hand from their forehead. "What happened? I feel like normal?" Chara stated perplexed. "Well then, you should be fine now. That worked better than I..." And then I woke up.
