After I had a fairly restful sleep, given the circumstances, I felt a tug at my clothes. "Good morning." I let out a yawn and take a stretch. "What is it, Asriel?" "What  can you do? You told us you can do all these crazy things at the table yesterday and I wanna see them myself!" "Oh, all right. Let's find a nice room for this. It needs to be pretty big so I can show off all of my pyromancy." "I know just the place!" And he led me to an extremely long hallway. "So, I've heard you can use magic yourself?" "Yeah! Lemme show ya!" Asriel then threw a small fireball as naturally as someone would throw a ball and it made a small explosion on the ground where it landed. He looked proud of what he did. "Well, I can do something similar." I create a fireball about the size of a baseball and throw it in a similar manner, with nearly identical results. "Now, I think I'll show off something with a little more "oomph"." I create a crimson red fireball about the size of a watermelon and throw this one with similar ease, but it has much more of an impact, even leaving a small pool of magma for a moment. "Ooh! That's so cool!" Asriel looks at the aftermath enthusiastically. "There's also this!" I create a stream of fire from my hand in a wave-like motion in front of me. "And this!" A constant stream of fire erupts from my hand. "So! Freaking! Cool!" "And, for my last showcased pyromancy, firestorm! You, uh, might want to move back. Like, a lot." Asriel then sprints to the opposite side of the hallway. "All right! Here we go!" I place my palm on the ground and, the moment after, pillars of flame erupt from the ground around me. "Whoa..." "Now then, come back over. I have something to tell you." Asriel walks back over briskly. "What is it?" "While there is something to be said about how impressive these pyromancies are, they must only be used when life is threatened. Fire is indiscriminate as to what it burns. If you are not careful, it will consume you. This can apply to all forms of magic, though fire is one of the more commonly heard of examples of power corruption." "Oh... I'm sure you can teach me fine though, right?" "Of course, Asriel, of course. Now, which one do you want to learn first?" "Wha? You mean it?" "Actually, let's start with a greater fireball, as I think that's what you're used to." "Fiiiiine." "Now, focus a great amount of energy in your hand, like so..."
