Breakfast

Todoroki POV

"Baby. Wake up. Let's get breakfast" I say to Ei who's curled up next to Kats. Neither of them say anything but Ei pulls me into bed between him and Kats. Both of them start cuddling me, trying to get me to go back to sleep. "I'm hungry" I say again. "Shush" Kats says back. "No. I'm hungry" I whine, making a pouty face. "Your pouty face won't work today babe. Sorry." Ei says, cuddling me more. "How'd you even know I was making a pouty face? That means you had to open your eyes. Which means you're waking up. Which means we can go get breakfast!" I say back giggling. "Fine. Fine. You win. I'm getting up" Ei says with a yawn. "Good" I respond giving him a kiss on the nose. "Kats, baby. Are you hungry?" I ask shaking him a little. "No. I'm tired. You two kept me up all night" he says while putting his head under the blankets. "Don't act like you didn't enjoy it..." I giggle back. "But fine. We'll go without you." I get up and close the curtains so Kats can sleep more. "After breakfast let's go the beach!" I say excitedly. "Okay baby. We'll get our beach clothes on then" Ei says to me as he walks into the bathroom to get ready. "What else do you wanna do today?" Ei questions after brushing his teeth. "Hm." I say, while trying to think of something. "We could do some shopping! I'm sure our families would love something while we're here" I respond. "That's a great idea!" Ei says. "We'll come get Kats after we eat and spend a little time at the beach, yeah?" "Okay" I giggle as I make my way to the door.

"This place is so fancy! They have chefs for every breakfast food imaginable! There's so many options! Look there's even a waffle bar!" I say excitedly. "Do you even eat waffles?" Ei laughs. "I would if we had a waffle bar." I respond back. He rolls his eyes. "You know we could have a waffle bar, right? We could even hire someone to make all our meals for us if we wanted" he says back. "Yeah. I know. But then Kats wouldn't be able to teach me how to cook anymore" I say grabbing some fruit. "He's teaching you how to cook?" He says as he grabs a lot of, I think it's meat? "Yeah. He has been for a while. He thinks I'm really bad at it still, but I like the way he touches me when he teaches me so I mess up on purpose. I'm pretty decent when I try though!" I say sitting down with my plate. "Damn. Why didn't I think of that?" He laughs as he starts eating. "Wait. Is that what you do when you ask me about video games?" He questions. "Yeah" I giggle out. "You are so cute" he responds.

"Uhm. Excuse me?" We hear a small voice at the end of the table. "I'm sorry to bother you, but are you guys on a date...?" We both look down to see a small girl. She looks about 13. Maybe 14. "Yes we are" I say back as Ei and I both blush. "Really???" She questions back excitedly. "Of course" Ei says back to her. "What's your name?" I ask her. "It's Izumi!" "Well it's lovely to meet you Izumi!" Ei says to her. "You guys are famous!" She says back. "A little bit, yeah" I laugh. "Was everyone accepting of you guys..." She suddenly asks while staring at her feet. "Yeah, they were actually. All our friends and family are very loving." Ei responds. "So... I can still be a pro hero, too? Even if I like girls in the same way that I should like boys?" She asks again, with tears in her eyes. Ei and I both look at each other. "Of course you can" I say to her smiling. She looks at me with the biggest grin and hugs me. "Thank you." She says. "You guys have given hope to large community of us aspiring pro heroes..." She responds, letting go of me. "I'm sorry for bothering you two on your date. I'll get going now." Ei and I both smile at her as she walks away. "I sometimes forget that there's not a lot of openly gay heroes..." I say to Ei. "I was so worried on if people would accept us, I forgot that the future generations who look up to us, would feel comfortable to follow their dreams too. No matter what." I tear up a little bit. "I wish we could help them all..." Ei grabs my hand. "We are helping them babe. We're helping them to see that world is accepting and loving now. We're paving the way for future pro heroes to be open and honest about who they are. We're also paving the way to show people who don't agree, that we will rise above their hate and we won't stop loving who we love just because they said to." I bring his hand up to my face. "You're right babe" I say with a smile. "I love you." "I love you too" Ei says back.

Once we finished our conversation and eating, we went to the beach to hang out for a while. "It's so sunny and warm" I say, digging my feet into the sand. "It feels amazingly." "You're right. It does feel really good." He says laying in a lounger. "Those sunglasses look really good on you" I giggle out. "Mm thanks babe." He says smiling. He pulls me into his chair with him and sits me on his lap. "That's better" he says smirking. I try to get up but he wraps his arms around me. "Sorry. You're not allowed to leave yet" he giggles. "Ugh. Fine." I say as he scoots over on the chair to let me lay next to him. "We need to go get Kats soon, don't we?" I question him. "Yeah. But we have some time to relax still." He says back, as he gets comfortable. "Good" I say as I give him a kiss. He kisses me back, this time a lot more passionately. "Where do you think the cameras are hidden?" I giggle out, knowing this will be all over social media probably tomorrow. He looks around the beach to find someone who could be suspicious enough. "I actually don't know. Whoever they are, they blend in really well" he laughs as he lifts my head up to his wrap his arm around me. "When you checked your phone, were any news sites saying we were cheating on each other yet?" I laugh out. "You told me not to tell you anything" he says looking at the waves crash. "Yeah but now I'm curious" I pout back. "Mmm I think so yeah, actually" he laughs. "That's funny." I say back. "Yeah. It is" he says kissing me on my forehead.

"I really want to stay here forever, with you and Kats" I say after about 10 minutes of silence.
"So do I" he says back. "We still have two days here. But I'm already planning our next vacation" I laugh.
"Oh yeah?" He questions with a smirk.
"Yeah. I was kinda thinking we could do something like an amusement park. Like Disney or something" I say shyly. "I think that's a great idea. Imagine forcing Kats to wear Mickey Mouse ears. He would hate it but it would be so cute!!" He laughs. "Oh! We could do the Disney in America and kill two birds with one stone!" He says again excitedly.

"That sounds perfect babe!" I say back.
"Absolutely perfect!"
