Todoroki POV
"Ugh finally!" Ei says as he plops onto the couch.
"We were only gone for three days, babe" I say to him laughing.
"Hey did you see! The mission pushed you up the ranks!" Ei says excitedly as he watches the news reporter talk about me.
"Shouto Todoroki who was on leave until just a few days ago is now ranked at #15 after this last mission!"
"That's great!" I say. I can't help but feel weird about it though. My original goal was to become #1. I don't even know if that's what I want anymore. Honestly, I don't know what I want...
"Where's Kats? He hasn't really talked to me since I joined you guys on the mission" I ask Ei who's still bragging to the tv that he's dating me.
"Oh. Uhm. I don't know actually." He says sitting up.
"Oh..." I put my keys on the table, flashing the keychain the boys got me.
"You brought that keychain with you, didn't you" Ei says slightly laughing.
"Of course I did. I'll bring it everywhere I go. It's my reminder that you'll both always be with me. No matter what." I say smiling but still worried about Kats.
"I'm gonna go to bed. It's been a long few days." I say as I make my way to the room.
"Oh. Okay. Do you want some company?" He questions.
"No. That's okay" I say back.
I head to my room and turn the shower on. I can't stop thinking about Kats. I hope he's okay. I wonder where he is. He didn't come home with us. Maybe he got home earlier. I don't know. Something seems off with the three of us lately. We're not nearly as flirty. Kats and I have been fighting a lot. Maybe this isn't something they wanted... Maybe the three of us are just... getting tired of each other...
I get out of the shower, the thoughts still flooding my mind. I put on a pair of sweats and lay down. I feel someone wrap their arms around me.
"I'm sorry..."
"Kats? When did you get home?" I question.
"Earlier" he says.
"You sound so sad. Why are you apologizing? You're scaring me" I say back.
"I'm trying to protect you. But I'm doing it all wrong. I'm pushing you away. I'm sorry." He says burying his head into the blankets.
"You keep apologizing for the same things over and over again. If you were really sorry, you'd trust me. And you'd trust my judgment. If you were really sorry, you'd only ever have to apologize once." My voice sounds irritated. Maybe it's because of everything I was thinking about earlier.
"The three of us need to talk." I say. "Go get Ei."
There's a long silence. But he complies and gets up.
"We already know what you're going to say..." Ei says walking into the room. He sits on the bed next to me. "We haven't been acting like we're together, lately" he starts. "You're probably questioning if we want this." "Yeah I am actually." I say to them.
"That's why... Kats and I decided to take the day off both tomorrow and Monday. Giving us a four day weekend. We are going to do whatever you want for those four days. Before we left, we realized we've never even been out on a date." He says.
"We both want this still. We both want you. We both love you endlessly. I'm sorry that we haven't been acting like good boyfriends to you. Honestly, most of the time I don't know what I'm doing. Ei's got a little more experience than me in the dating field, but I'm fucking clueless. I'm always doing and saying the wrong things. And I'm sorry. From now on, I will trust your judgement. I will trust you. I don't want to push you away. I don't want to lose you." Kats says grabbing my hand.
"So... 4 days, huh?" I ask with a slight smile. "Anything I want?"
"Anything you want babe" Kats says kissing my hand.
"We're gonna need to pack" I say laughing.
"Pack?" Ei questions.
"Yep. There's a beach I want to go to. And I thought maybe we could stay at a hotel and go out to dinner and just relax until we have to go home"
"You just thought of that on the spot?" Kats questions.
"I've been thinking about it for a while. But I only decided to bring it up since we have the time now." I smile back.
"Hm. A little weekend getaway? Sounds perfect!" Ei says as they both grab me into a hug and kiss me everywhere.
"You know... Once we go, what we have will be public... There's no turning back afterwards." I say shyly.
They both look at each other.
"That's fine by us. We want the whole world to know" Kats says kissing me again. I can't help but giggle.
"We should probably tell our PR teams first so they don't completely flip." I say laughing.
"Already done babe. We told them a while ago." Kats says. "Now shush and let us kiss you"
"Fine. Fine." I giggle out.
"Mmm you know..." Ei says between kisses. "We should probably set up reservations for the hotel. And get gas in the car. And go to the mall" he says laughing.
"The mall? What for?" Kats says.
"Well, I don't know about you but I don't exactly have beach clothes, babe" he laughs giving Kats a kiss.
"Yeah. You're right. Alright. Let's go then." He says jumping up to put on normal clothes.
"So was this the surprise you were talking to me about?" I question Ei as we get into the car.
"It sure was" Ei says grinning.
"Mm clothing shopping with you two sounds fun!" I giggle to the both of them.
"Oh it will be very fun" Ei says.
"Also the reservations are all set. I picked a really fancy hotel and everything. You guys are gonna love it"
"Already looking forward to it babe" Kats say grabbing his hand.
"How did I end up in the back seat this time?" I question making a pouty face.
"Don't worry. We'll make up for it later" Kats says with a smirk.
"I missed this." I say looking at them. "I missed you guys. I missed being flirty."
"We missed it too babe" Ei says.
