Bakugou POV

I'm glad they didn't notice me listening to their conversation. I hear Sho's door shut. I walk back out to see Ei sitting on the couch.

"I overreacted... didn't I...?" I ask him.
"Yeah. You did. You knew this day was coming. You knew he was eventually going to go back. He's right. He's still a Pro Hero. You need to apologize to him. I could tell he was scared to tell us. He shouldn't be scared to tell us anything. We're supposed to be his biggest supporters. That means supporting him with whatever he needs as long as it's within reason. And this is well within reason. You should've seen how happy he was tell me about the rest of his day. It was like his eyes lit up as he told me how everyone wanted pictures with him. He missed it. He misses doing pro hero work. You fucked up." I wince at Ei's words.

"You're right. I fucked up."
"You need to fix this, Kats."
"I'll go talk to him. I'll apologize."
"Good." I can tell Ei's mad at me too. He has every right to be. I broke this precious boys heart with one fucking sentence. I stand there in silence for a minute before turning around to go to Sho's room. I knock on his door but I don't hear him. I open it to see it empty. That's when I notice the bathroom light on.

"Sho? Are you in there?" I see his shadow under the door.
"Can I come in?"
"Yeah..." his breath is shaky. I open the door to find a puffy eyed boy standing in front of me.
I pull him into a hug.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it. I was scared. I don't want to lose you."
"You're not gonna lose me." He says squeezing me tighter.
"I know. I know I'm not going to." I say. I can feel him crying into my chest.
"I didn't mean to make you cry. I didn't mean to break your heart like that. I didn't mean it. Please forgive me. You didn't deserve for me to yell at you like that. Please don't be scared to tell me exciting things like that. I should be excited with you. I'm so sorry. I'm so fucking sorry." I say as tears start to fall from my own face.
I completely destroyed the excitement of this fragile boy. I should've been excited. But I let my fear get the better of me. He was probably so excited when Trace told him that. And I ruined it.
I pull away from the hug to wipe his tears.

"Please forgive me, Shouto"
"I'm not mad at you. I figured you weren't going to be thrilled when I broke the news to you. I just miss being in the field. I miss it so much. I miss fighting alongside you and Ei and Midoriya and everyone. I miss being a part of everything. I forgive you, Kats."
I pull him into another hug.
"I'm sorry. You're right. You shouldn't have stopped after what happened. We shouldn't have pushed you to take a break. We shouldn't have kept you on desk duty. You deserve to be out there with us."
"You think so?" He says.
"I know so. Do you know how many times over the last few years we could've used your help? More times than I'd like to admit actually..." he laughs at my statement.
"I'm sorry I'm a shitty boyfriend" I say to him.
"You're not a shitty boyfriend. You just care a lot about me. And I know you're worried about me all the time."
"It's because I love you" I say kissing him on his forehead.
"What?" He responds shocked.
"Aw that's no fair. I was hoping I'd be the first to say it to him" Ei says. "Sorry. I hope you don't mind. But I couldn't help it. It's not often we get to hear Kats admit he fucked up"

"You two are truly something else" Sho says looking at us.
"Did you really turn the shower on so we wouldn't hear you cry?" Ei says motioning to the water running.
"I didn't want to bother either of you" Sho says.
"You're not gonna bother us when you cry, babe. We will always be here to comfort you. Or. At least I will be" Ei says, looking towards me.
"Oh fuck off" I say flipping him off. "I'll always be here for him too. You both know this. Fucking idiot."
Sho laughs at us. "I like it better when you're laughing" I kiss him. "We both like it better" Ei interjects, walking closer to us. "Can we watch a movie" Sho says. "Of course. We'll even let you pick. Right Kats?" He says nudging me. "Of course. You're choice." Sho gets a big smile on his face. He runs to the couch like a little kid and grabs the remote.

Sitting together on the couch was always interesting until we decided on our current arrangement. Ei sits on the left. I sit next to Ei. And then Sho lays down and lays his legs across both of us. Usually I'll put my arm around Ei and rest my other hand on Sho's legs, while Ei is usually always rubbing Sho's feet.

"You guys are so slow. I can't lay down until you're both sitting down." Sho says as he's already loaded up Netflix.

"Shush. Let me make the popcorn" Ei says.
"Im grabbing the drinks." I say back. I look back at Sho who's not only already decided on a movie but is standing there sticking his tongue out at me.
"You're like a little kid" I laugh at him.
"A little kid who could kick your ass" he responds.
"Extra bratty now, aren't we?" I laugh at him again.
"I'll let it slide for tonight since I made you cry. But just know, If you try this tomorrow, I'm not responsible for what happens to you" I say as I set our usual go to movie drinks on the table.
"Ugh is the popcorn done yet??? I wanna lay down!!" Sho says to Ei.
"You're so impatient right now. Relax. It's got like a minute more." Ei responds to the extra bratty Sho. Sho walks over to him and wraps his arms around him.
"You don't happen to have an extra quirk to speed it up do you?" Sho questions.
"Go bother Kats. I'll be there in a second" Ei responds ignoring the dumb question.
"What is it with you right now?" I say as Ei and I both laugh. "You're like a 16 year old but worse." Ei says again. Sho giggles. "Kats..." Sho questions. "Yes Sho?" I respond to him while glancing through my phone. "Am I annoying you?" He giggles. "Slightly but I'm letting it slide" I say back. "Good" he says. I glance up at him to see him smiling. I push him off the couch making him fall to the floor but then he grabs me and yanks me down with him. He quickly sits on top of me. "I could easily get out of this if I wanted" I say. "I know. But you won't. It's probably because I'm pretty sure you're imagining me naked right now, aren't you?" He giggles some more.

"How the fuck are you horny right now?" I question as Ei laughs coming to the couch with the popcorn.
"FINALLY!" Sho gets off me and gets ready to get into his spot on the couch.
"He's got the sudden sex drive of a 16 year old, Ei. We're gonna need to fix that" I say as we both sit in our respective spots.
"Yeah I know. Later we will. Right now, we'll just let him enjoy it. I kinda missed him being like this. It's like he's back to his cute puppy ways." Ei says as we both watch him. "Yeah you're right" I say as I wrap my arm around Ei and rub Sho's calf with my free hand.

"Ready?" Sho asks us.
"What movie did you pick?" Ei asks as Sho's already hit play. "All I'll say is, it's a romcom" he says with a giggle.
