Liam was on the bus heading to school, almost asleep. He was about to fall asleep when his phone buzzed in his pocket. He looked at it, only to see a text from Henry asking if they could eat lunch just the two of them

Sounded like something Liam definitely wanted to do. He figured it was the second day, and Jake would wanna hang out with the music club at lunch since he didn't the first day. But that would mean leaving Drew by himself..

"I'm sure he'll be fine.." Liam thought to himself

"What?! You're gonna leave me?!"

That reaction...was slightly what Liam expected

"Why do you two even wanna be alone together?!"

"Drew, give em a break.." Jake said, gathering his stuff from his locker. "Maybe there's....stuff going on between them...?"

"Still, we shouldn't be keeping secrets from each other." Drew said, rolling his eyes. Liam and Henry looked at each other upon hearing that

"Look, I-I'm gonna go to the music room. You three sort this out somehow...and please, no arguments and physical stuff..." Jake said before walking off with his stuff.

"Maybe go find Stacy or something" Liam said, smirking at Drew. "I'm pretty sure she's got the hots for you. Or Lia"

Drew sighed, clearly annoyed. "Yeah, yeah, whatever."

He then walked off, leaving just Henry and Liam alone together.

"Well, I saw that reaction coming" Henry said, shrugging slightly. "Whatever" Liam sighed "let's go find a good spot. Wanna head outside?"

Henry ran over to a bench in the school yard, sliding down onto it. Liam sat down beside him

"What's on today's menu?" he asked as Henry opened his bag and looked inside. "I think leftover salad?"

"Of course." Liam smirked. Henry looked at him, smiling aswell

The two of them started eating, looking around the area around them. "Hey Liam..?" Henry said after a bit, making Liam look at him. "Yeah?" the taller boy responded

"Um...do you think anyone will ever find out about us...?"

Liam went silent for a bit, then shrugged

"What do we do if they find out..?" Henry asked

"Depends on the reaction they give..." Liam said. Henry raised an eyebrow. "Why's that?"

"Well, if the reaction isn't positive, they're getting their legs kicked out. I'm not letting anyone hurt you."

Henry blushed a bit, looking at Liam still. Then he looked down and sighed

"I hate having to keep secrets from them..." he said. Liam put an arm around Henry and pulled him close. "I know..." he said "I do too..."

"Would you wanna tell them now...?"

Henry's heart practically stopped at Liam's question. "Hell no..!" he said jolting up from his lover

Liam kinda just stared at him. "S-Sorry.." Henry said, crossing his arms slightly. "I'm just...not all that ready to tell them..."

Liam nodded. "That's fine.." he said, placing a hand on Henry's cheek "I won't tell if you won't..."

Henry nodded while smiling

"Nope...not till we're ready..." he said

"Those two are up to something."

Drew ended up running into Jake before he got into the music room, and was telling him everything that had happened

"Drew, I'm sure everything is fine...don't make a big deal out of this..."

"But they're so...secretive latley...!! Jake, this is our last year of highschool!!"

"Y-Yeah, I know..." Jake sighed. He looked down before hugging Drew. Drew was frozen in shock

"I promise everything will be fine..."

"Ughh...fine...lemmie go though, please...?" Drew said. Jake nodded, then let go. "I'll see you later.." he said before heading into the music room. Drew gave a small nod, then headed off. However, partially down the hall, he kicked the wall in frustration

He was so frustrated that Jake had gotten a girlfriend over the summer. He wanted someone in his life to treat him like he was the center of their world. He wanted someone who would tell him things every day like "I love you" and "you're so cute!!" He wanted someone to make him feel better after a crappy day at school. He wanted....

He wanted someone like Jake...

He wanted Jake...

"Ugh, get over it Drew!!" he quickly yelled at himself "he doesn't love you!! He loves that...that singer...he might not ever love you...."

Drew pulled out his phone from his pocket. He looked at his lock screen, which was a photo of him and Jake at his house, around two summers ago. He smiled looking at the photo, but his smile quickly dropped. He turned off his phone and put it back in his pants pocket, heading upstairs to his locker

"I can't tell him...he's too happy with Hailey, so I can't tell him...not now...not ever..."
