Henry was in his homeroom class when an announcement came on over the speakers. One that he was dreading

"Attention seniors of Rosemeadow High. Just a reminder that college applications are starting this Friday! If you'd like a paper copy of the application forms, they are available in the guidance office starting today! If you'd like to hand in an online application, please ask your homeroom teacher or someone in guidance how to find it! Deadlines are January 23rd!"

Henry looked down. He wasn't looking forward to handing in college applications, for two reasons. For one, he was having trouble picking what college to apply to. He wasn't exactly sure what he wanted to do with his life after highschool

And the other issue was...he was worried that Liam and him would go to separate colleges

Henry knew that if him and Liam went to separate colleges while in a relationship, things might come between them. And he absolutely hated the thought of being without Liam, either at different colleges or not in a relationship at all

But he couldn't tell Liam that. He had already stressed him out enough when he wasn't eating enough or at all. He didn't wanna worry him again

Henry thought that him thinking about the college applications would pass. However, when lunch started, he realized he was sorry mistaken

"Jake, you have to promise we'll go on a date at least every other weekend when we're in college.." Drew said

"Of course!" Jake smiled. Then he turned to Henry

"Hey, Henry, what're you doing after highschool?"

"O-Oh...um..." Henry started to say. He had to think of a way to lie himself out of this. He thought it would seem stupid he hadn't picked a college yet

"It's a surprise" he smirked. It was the best excuse he could think of

The rest of the group's conversation continued on without another mention of college. Henry's stomach was hurting and he thought he was gonna be sick. After a bit, he laid down with his head resting on Liam's lap

"Wh- Henry...? What are you......?" Liam started to ask as he looked down at his boyfriend

"I just need to lay down for a minute..." Henry said before closing his eyes "I don't feel good..."

Liam looked at Henry's lunch. He'd eaten it all, so him not eating wasn't the issue. Maybe he had just had too much to eat?

Liam continued talking with Jake and Drew, while rubbing Henry's head lightly. Henry stayed laying down, and as he was, he began to think...

What if him and Liam went to different colleges...?

The five minute warning bell rang, and Henry sat up to put his stuff away. Now he felt even worse...

The thought of him and Liam going off to different colleges made him feel the worst he had felt all day. What if the long distance relationship didn't work out?! What if Liam found someone else he liked?!

"Henry..?"

Henry looked up, and saw Liam staring at him with a look of concern

"Yeah..?"

"You wanna hang out at my place after school...?" Liam asked with a small smile

Henry felt a little better hearing that. Him and Liam would be alone together, and maybe he could tell him what was bothering him
