Just A Girl (Dr. Strange × Y/n)

Part 1

You live in New York with your dad and mom, Clint Barton and laura, along with the rest of the avengers in the compound. You had your own house but Clint would've preferred to live in the compound where it was more safe for you and your siblings. You are the oldest being 19 years old. Clint was the best dad you could've asked for. He made sure that you along with your siblings and mom were protected and not to mess with. He would also teach you how to use a bow and arrow. He had been teaching you since you turned 10. Now you've become sort of like him but he was way better than you and you knew it.

Peter parker is your boyfriend. You two had been together for about 2 years. He was the first boy who you had fallen in love with. When you two first met he was really shy. You had to be the one to make the first move. He had then asked you to go homecoming with him. You obviously said yes. That was the day you had your first kiss. With the boy you loved. You two had been really close. Your relationship was open and there were no lies between the two of you. Until things started to get weird. He started getting distant lately. You would always ask if there was something wrong and every time he answered that everything was fine. You started to get worried about your relationship with him. You plan on asking him again. You were going to meet tonight.

You get to the place you both decided to meet up to hang out for some time. You got the first so you waited for him. After some time of waiting you see him walking towards you.

"Hi pete" you say as you embrace him.

"Hi" he gives you a kiss on the cheek.

"Peter we really need to talk. You've been off lately. Is there something you want to tell me?" You stand there in silence with your arms crossed.

"Y/n I've told you a million times that I'm fine."

"That doesn't tell me anything peter" you sigh. "We're supposed to be honest with each other pete. I just want you to be honest with me please"

Peter stays silent and you know that there is something going on but he doesn't want to tell you.

"Fine. Talk to me when you feel like telling me what's going on." You don't say anything else to him and just leave him there.

You started to head to the compound when a car pulled up. It was nat.

"You coming?" She said from inside the car.

You don't say anything to her and just go inside the car with her. You stay silent most of the time until she finally speaks up.

"Something happened didn't it" she says her eyes still on the road but shooting glances towards you.

"Yes. There's something Peter doesn't want to tell me. He started acting weird lately and now I feel like he's keeping a secret from me"

"Talk to him. If he loves you then he wouldn't lie to you about how he is feeling"

Nat was right. You knew peter loved you but you didn't know if he loved you enough for him to tell you what's going on. He was always open with you. When he was feeling down he would talk to you about his problems and he would listen to you when you were feeling down. But now that's changing and you were scared your relationship will end because of it.

After a whole of driving you and nat finally arrive at the compound. As soon as you get there Nathaniel is waiting for you at the entrance with Clint. You see Nathaniel run up to you.

"Y/n!!" He says as you catch him in your arms carrying him. You start to walk towards Clint with Nathaniel in your arms.

"Hey sweetie how was it?" He says giving you a kiss on the forehead putting his arm around your shoulder as you both walk inside.

"Not so good dad" you sigh. Clint knew something was wrong and he didnt want you to feel that way.

"I'm going to have to go for some work tonight but if you are awake by the time I get back we can talk about it. How does that sound" he looks at you with a smile.

"Okay" you said and he says goodbye before leaving with the rest of the avengers. You stayed home with your siblings and laura. You and Lila got along well. I mean yeah sometimes you two argued or got mad at each other but you two were sisters after all so it's normal to be mad at each other at some point. The two of you decided to watch movies in the living room. You made some popcorn and let her pick the movie for that night.

"You seem off today y/n" she says looking at you as she lays down on the sofa with her arms under her chin.

"When you get into a relationship you'll understand" you say as you put the bag of popcorn into the microwave and turn to look at her.

"Ew no. Me in a relationship. Never."

"That's what everyone says at first" you say laughing.

"Well don't worry. If peter hurts you. Dad will take care of it" she says turning to look at the TV.
