Just A Girl (Dr. Strange × Y/n)

Part 17

You see yourself standing in the middle. Like a reflection of the person you could become if this doesn't go as planned. You're scared. You don't want to become her. If you lose Stephen you might lose it the way she did.

"I know what you're thinking" she suddenly says

"Do you?"

"Oh yes I do" she pauses for a moment waiting a response from you but you don't say anything. "You're afraid you might end up like me if Stephen were to die."

"I would never be like you." You say back to her.

She scoffs "you might think you wouldn't but you should trust me when I tell you that you will end up like me. If he dies, you'll go mad. You'll end up going across the multiverse so you can find him again and have him no matter who ends up hurt in the process. That's how much we love him."

You stay silent. Maybe she's right. What could be the possibility of you not becoming her. Maybe across the multiverse you all have the same fate. If it were true though, at this point it wouldn't only be her. So why believe anything she says?

You try to spot wanda and once you do you signal her to start and get inside her mind. Clearly yourself noticed when you did.

"You really think she could get inside my mind? How pathetic."

With one hand movement she lifts you up from the ground unable to move your arms or legs.

"You really should've considered other possibilities about me having another power other than just mind reading." She laughs.

"We did."

She gives you a confused look. Clearly wanda had gotten in.

Tony and the rest fall in and wanda uses her power to do the same to her which releases you from her grasp.

"Bet you didn't see that coming" you say

"You really think you can win?" She laughs.

You see her power starting to grow and wanda not being able to hold it for long. Blue rays of light start to form around her. Like some kind of power is coming together and becoming more big and powerful. Wanda is starting to not take it any longer.

"Y/n I'm losing her!" She shouts out as she keeps on trying to stay inside her head.

"Dammit" you say under your breath.

"I need to come in y/n" Stephen says through your earpiece.

"No Stephen, stay in the ship until I tell you to" you say back.

"No y/n-" you cut him out.

If he came out, it could be bad. She could easily take him.

You see Tony and Steve teaming up to try and bring her down. They start throwing punches but she seems to strong for them to do it by themselves. Wanda is to focused on trying to stay inside her mind. The rest also try to help out. But then something happens.

Portals start to open up, an army of some kind of creature come out from them. There's many. Too many.

"Why would any of you think I'd be alone" she smirks.

You look over to your dad with a worried look.

"Y/n you have to go" Clint says.

"No dad I can't. I need to stay. This is my fight" you respond.

He looks at you then looks down and see him talk to his earpiece.

You don't know who he is talking to but after he's done, he looks back up at you and looks right beside you.

You turn around and find Stephen right next to you.

"I'm not letting you do this alone y/n" Stephen says.

"Stephen please leave. You're gonna get hurt"

He gives you a small smile "really? Me get hurt? You underestimate me" he places his hand on your cheek caressing it.

"We'll do this together." He looks into your eyes and you know he won't leave you.

Hey yall this is a really short one sorry for the very very very late update. Didn't have any inspiration to write but I'm back and hopefully yall are still waiting for updates. This story is almost do its end. What do you think will happen?
