Just A Girl (Dr. Strange × Y/n)

Part 6

There he was. Stephen standing a few feet away from you with a smile on his face. The way he looked at you made your heart melt. You didn't know he was going to come to your party, but he did and that made you very happy. He also seemed happy to be there.

He started to walk towards you.

"Happy birthday y/n" he handed you the flowers with a smile on his face.

"You actually made it. I thought you would be busy"

"I decided to come at the last minute" he looked at you the way he always does.

You just smiled. You looked down at the flowers he gave you and then looked back up at him smiling. He takes the flowers from you and sets them down on table by you.

"Want to dance?" He extends his hand to you.

"You dance?" You raise an eyebrow and laugh.

"Do you want to or not?" He laughs as well.

You smile and place your hand on his.

He pulled you in slowly to him and smiled down at you. You smiled up at him and then placed you head on his chest smiling to yourself. You felt safe in his arms. Like there's nothing that would harm you around him. You hadn't felt that way before. Not even with peter. He made sure you were safe and told you he would keep you safe but it didn't really feel that way with him. There was something in Stephen that made you feel safe. Like he wouldn't let anything or anyone harm you. It might be bad that you are staring to feel something for him when you just broke up with peter but you couldn't control your feelings for him. It might be wrong to move on so fast but you didn't care. You wanted to forget what peter had done. As if nothing ever happened between you two. You just wanted to forget. You knew he was happy now and you wanted to find that happiness for yourself. It felt like you had found it when you are with Stephen.

You looked up at him and laughed a little.

"Is there something funny?" He looks down at you.

"I didn't know you were a dancer" you laughed.

"I'm not. But I'm trying my best"

"Well you're pretty good at it"

You two kept on dancing for some time. Then he pulled away looking at you with a smile.

"I think they're missing you in there"

"Maybe you're right" you grabbed his hand and took him with you back inside.

As you two walked in, you saw nat and wanda giggling to themselves when they saw you. You knew they did something.

"Give me a minute I'll be right back" You walked away from him and started walking towards nat and wanda.

"It was both of you wasn't it"

"I don't know what you're talking about" they look at each other and smile.

"Cut the bullshit. Wanda you knew"

"Okay yes I knew you were in love with strange so I had to do something about it. I had to look for him but I didn't fully force him. A part of him wanted to come anyways."

"I'm pretty sure he loves you" nat looked at you with a sweet smile.

"It's too soon for him to love me nat"

"Well you never know. How about we have some fun. You aren't 21 yet but you could use a couple of drinks"

"Yes please"

The three of you walked towards the bar and ordered some drinks. After having some of them, you saw people starting to dance in the dance floor. Yes Tony built a dance floor in the compound he's that extra.

You saw everyone having fun, dancing, having drinks, playing games and it was a good day. It was dark outside. The stars shinning over over compound. Colored lights flashing on the dance floor. Tony and the rest looked like they were having fun. Your mom and dad together made you want to find a love like theirs. They had their problems but they stuck together. Even before you were born their relationship was so strong. It made you happy seeing how even if they had problems, they would find a way to solve it together. You wanted their kind of love and also some day start a family like theirs.

You smiled at them and started to walk towards but.. something was off. You started to get a headache. Started to not see well. Your head was hurting so much. You started seeing something.

You were on the floor. Blood dripping on your side. A knife deep inside you. You looked straight ahead and saw someone running up to you. A man. You didn't recognize. You fell on your knees. Tears falling down your cheek. You felt arms around you holding you and pulling you close. You started to feel cold. You didn't know where you were. Your breath started to slow down. You felt felt hand caressing your hair and face and all you heard was..

"I love you in ever-...."

The voice faded away. Then you wake up from it.

You come back to reality gasping for air. You were down on the floor on your knees. People crowded around you. Clint, laura and nat were kneeling beside you. Trying to calm you down. Everyone looked worried. You looked up still trying to focus your sight and saw strange looking at you worried.

"I'm sorry.." he mouthed. Then he walked away not looking back at you.

Your tears started to fill your eyes. You looked around. You wanted to stand up and run after him. You tried to stand up a little.

"No no y/n stay here" Clint held you down.

You closed your eyes and still felt some pain. You didn't know what that vision or whatever it was meant. You didn't know why Stephen said sorry to you. You were so confused and worried as well. What was happening?

Sorry for the long wait I kind of got distracted with having summer and being able to go out but anyways I'm back and I had also gone to girls camp and it was really fun.
