Just A Girl (Dr. Strange × Y/n)

Part 2

You and Lila ended up falling asleep while watching the movie. You heard voices around you. You figured Clint had returned with the rest. Then he comes up to you and wakes you up.

"Y/n I'm back" he whispered to you to not wake up Lila.

You open your eyes and look and him and start to sit up.

"Sorry for waking you up. If you want to talk about you and parker you can but I would rather for you to get some rest instead."

"Okay. We can talk about it tomorrow" you say smiling a bit.

He smiles back and you and gives you a kiss on the forehead before leaving.

You walk back to your room and immediately fall asleep.

You wake up the next morning and take a quick shower before staring your day. You change into clothes and do your hair. After, you head down to the kitchen to get some breakfast. When you got there you saw Clint already making some.

"Good morning dad" you said hugging him and heading to sit down at the counter.

"Good morning. I'm making your favorite pancakes today and while we eat we can talk about what's going on" he says as he pours the pancake mix into a pan.

"Yeah that would be nice" you say smiling at him.

After he's done with the pancakes you both go outside the compound where there is a picnic area set up. You didn't know how your dad would feel about the problems going on between you and peter. You knew that he wouldn't want you to be hurt because of your relationship but you didn't know if he would be mad at peter for making you feel the way you were feeling. You loved peter. You were always honest with him. He was always honest with you. What was it that is making things change?

"Ok so what's happening. Did he do something to you?" Clint said as he crossed his arms.

"No dad. It's just that I feel like he's lying to me about something. I don't know about what but he seems nervous around me and distant" you didn't even want to think about what he was hiding from you.

"Talk to him. Like actually make him talk. You dont deserve to feel down because of him"

He was right. It seems selfish of you to say it but you actually didn't deserve any of it. You didn't want to feel down because of peter and you needed to talk to him. After having breakfast with Clint you decided to call peter and have him meet you at a coffee shop. You were nervous and scared that if he told you the truth it would only make it worse.

When you got there, peter was already waiting for you. You entered the shop and sat down. He would usually hug you and kiss you but this time he didn't.

"Peter please tell me what's going on"

He stayed silent for a minute but then finally spoke.

"I'm sorry y/n. But this isn't going to work anymore"

You didn't understand why he would say that but the next words he said crushed you and you felt your heart sink in.

"I'm in love with someone else. I'm so sorry y/n. I should've told you before. I did love you. You were the best thing that ever happened to me but I don't know what happened. I fell for someone else. I'm sorry" Peter looked guilty saying those words.

You just couldn't speak. A knot formed in your throat. If you spoke now then tears would fall. You didn't want to say anything but you did.

"It's okay.." It's all you said before standing up and walking out. Tears falling down your cheeks. You heard peter call out your your but you just kept walking away. You didn't want him to see you that way.

As soon as you got to the compound you saw that everyone was in the living room and you tried to sneak past them without them noticing you were crying. Unfortunate laura noticed. You ran to your room as soon as you couldn't see them anymore and closed your door and locked yourself inside. You then heard a knock.

"Y/n sweetheart. Are you ok?" Laura called out to you. She sounded worried. "Please open the door y/n. Let's talk"

You didn't want to open the door but you did. You didn't want her to worry about you. You opened the door with tears in your eyes. She looked at you with sadness all over her face and immediately hugged you.

"I'm so sorry sweetie" she said as she hugged you tighter. All you could do was cry. You couldn't stop. People would think "oh what what cry baby" but peter was the first boy who you loved and also the first boy to break your heart. Of course it would hurt.

After your mom comforted you for some time. You fell asleep because of how much you cried. It hurt you to know that peter loved someone else. That someone else would not be getting his love instead of you. It hurts to even think that he fell for someone else while you two were still together. You had never known of any other girl that was in his life. All you knew was that the only friend he had was Ned. You didn't know if he had other friends that were girls. Or if he was hanging out with other girls. He was always with you. He never made excuses to not see you. He never said no at you wanting to meet up. Whenever he was busy you knew it was because of him being spiderman or his aunt needing his help. While you were sleeping you had a dream. Not really though. You heard a voice. You didn't recognize.

"I love you in every universe"

You immediately woke up after you heard those words. You didn't know who's voice it was. You were so confused but you didn't think about it for too long because it was just a stupid dream. Right?
