Just A Girl (Dr. Strange × Y/n)

Part 10

A few days went by and Tony had called in a meeting. You didn't know for what but it could be about other you. There was still no sign of her. You were surprised she hasn't done anything. You wondered if she had stopped going after you. Maybe she had given up? You had no clue but you wondered what Tony had to say.

You walked in and saw strange sitting down. You walked towards him and sat next to him. You looked across the table and saw nat smiling at you. She had been like that the whole time since she found out that you and Stephen were in good terms. No one else knew about you and Stephen. You didn't know how they would react. I mean he was older than you. And well people can have really bad opinions about age gaps. You were happy wanda and nat supported you though. They will be happy for you no matter what.

You turned to look at Stephen and gave him a smile. He smiled back at you and then you saw Tony walk in.

"For the one who called for a meeting you're awfully late" wanda said.

"Yeah I apologize for that"

"Any sign of another y/n being around?" Steve asked Tony.

"No. It's like she's waiting for the perfect time to get to her. We haven't seen her at all. I'm afraid that we will have to do something else to make her come to us" Tony said walking around the room.

"No." Clint spoke up.

You turned to look at him confused.

"We have to Barton" Tony stopped in front of him.

"You're not putting my daughter at risk Stark" he lowered his voice as he spoke to Tony.

You heard him though.

"Tony what does he mean by putting me at risk?" You looked straight at him.

"Tony. We can't" Natasha said.

"It's the only way we can attract her"

"We can give it a try. I don't like the idea but it's worth a shot" Steve looked at everyone.

Your dad didn't seem happy about Tony's plan. You were still confused about the putting you at risk part. How were they going to get her to come?

"So what's your plan huh? Have my daughter go out there without any supervision and have her possibly killed?"

"Not exactly. Well kind of. Without the whole having her killed. We will have her be alone. No one being around her. Maybe that way she will make a move. Knowing no one is there to protect her"

"What if she gets hurt" Stephen spoke up and sounded mad.

You knew he didn't want you to get hurt. Also him and Tony never really agree on things. You knew Stephen wouldn't want to put you at risk but you couldn't let his tone expose what you two had.

"I'll do it" you said.

Stephen tuned to look at you. Worried.

"Y/n no. You'll get hurt" Clint walked towards you.

You stood up and faced him.

"I'll be okay dad. Whatever it takes"

He stayed silent for a minute. He didn't want you to get hurt. You were the first person to bring him happiness. Aside for Laura. His first daughter. You knew he loved you and your siblings equally. He wouldn't want to lose any of you.

"Whatever it takes" he looked down then back up at you with a small smile.

You turned to look at Tony and nodded.

"Okay perfect. Let me just say she won't be fully alone. You can go out with your friends even peter. He can be there and update us on what's happening"

You looked down at Stephen who gave you a look as if he was saying "why would you do this" you knew he was worried. Worried that it could go wrong. Worried you'd die or get taken away. But you knew that if that happened... he would do anything to get you back. Him, your parents, your friends, everyone. They would all do anything to get you back. They were your family. You loved every single one of them. You would do anything for them and they would do anything for you.

Hey yall!! I know it's a small chapter lol. Also Sorry for the late update I haven't really had much time. I'm trying my best to enjoy summer as much as possible before going back to school.
