Just A Girl (Dr. Strange × Y/n)

Part 3

After you woke up you went downstairs to the living room where the whole team was playing some board games. They usually do it when they don't have any missions to do for the day. It was a fun way to hang out with each other. The funny thing about playing board games is that bucky and Sam would always end up fighting and arguing. You had a lot of fun with them.

You joined them and played a few rounds. You were so distracted that you forgot about something. Before you and peter broke up he wanted you to go with him to see this wizard? Sorcerer? Whatever he was because Ned apparently can do magic so they wanted his help. You didn't know if he still wanted you to come along. After everything that happened.

You called him to see If he still wanted you to go with him. To your surprise he said yes but he also said that he was going to bring someone else. You didnt want to give it to much attention. I mean you guys are broken up so why make a big deal out of it. You have to move on and live your life and not be sad for the rest of your life for some boy. You were determined that you were going to move on from peter. You wanted to. You wanted to move on.

You both decided to meet at the coffee shop along with Ned and whoever peter was bringing. When you got there you saw mj. Was he with her? It didnt bother you but you didn't know they even knew each other. You didnt say anything to him about mj. You just wanted him to be happy.

The four of you started to walk to this place. It looked really nice. Peter knocks and the doors opened by themselves. As you walked in you saw a guy who seemed like was a Sorcerer too.

"Hello I'm here to see Strange. Do you know where he is?" Peter asked.

"Yes. I will let him know you are here. I'm Wong by the way" he says as he takes his leave.

Peter stood there for some time and then came closer to you.

"Hey y/n"

"Hey.. sooo.. you're dating mj now?" You say trying to not be bothered by it.

"Yeah. She's cool. Are you sure you're ok with me and mj being together?" He asks. You can tell mj heard because she looked a bit guilty because you two were basically friends.

"Yeah totally" you faked a smile. Trying to hide your true emotions. "I'll find someone else eventually"

You smiled at peter and he smiled back.

"Hello peter"

You heard a voice call out peter and you turned to see a man standing by the fire place. He was tall. And hot? He looked way older than you but there was something about him that made you go speechless.

"Well that was quick" you said in a low voice. Mesmerized by strange? Apparently that's his name.

"Who's your friend?" He said looking at peter.

"This is mj my girlfriend" he said holding mj's hand.

"Yes I know that. I meant the other girl" he said pointing at you.

"That's y/n"

"Y/n. Pleasure to meet you" he said with a smile on his face.

You just stared at him like you were on some kind of love spell. You didn't even know you were staring so much.

"Y/n are you ok?" Peter asked looking at you.

"Are you single?" Those words slipped out of your mouth without even thinking about it.

Strange looked at you and tilted his head in confusion.

"What?" Peter looked at you then back at Strange.

"I'm way older than you but good try" strange said with another smile on his face.

I mean he was older than you. You could tell. But who cares. I mean you felt something a soon as you saw him. Like if you were both meant to find each other.

"Age doesn't matter to me" you said innocently smiling at him.

He smiled back and winked at you. There was something definitely going on between the two of you. If he wasn't interested then he would've blown you off immediately. The way he looked at you left you speechless. Those steel blue eyes looked at your eyes as if he was in love with you. That was impossible though. You had just met. Why would he love you right away. You didn't love him either but you could get to the point where you two would fall in love with each other.

As peter and strange finished talking, Wong came back and started to help Ned with his magic.

While they were doing that you saw that strange was walking towards you. You got a bit nervous but was good at hiding it.

"I noticed the tension between you and peter"

You looked down and stayed silent for a minute but spoke up.

"We dated. Until he told me he loved mj"

"Well I'm sure others are dying to be with you" he said with a small smile.

"Well strange I'm sure that is incorrect" you said crossing your arms.

"Call me Stephen" he said as his eyes locked with yours.

What was going on with you and Stephen? Like you two had just met but the connection between the two of you seemed to strong. The way he looked at you as if he had found the one he would love for the rest of his life. You didn't know what was going on. Your heart was beating so fast because of the way he stared at your eyes. You knew he was older than you. People could look at it the wrong way or not.

You noticed that Ned and wing were done for the day so you said goodbye to Stephen.

"Well it was nice meeting you Stephen" you said with a smile on your face.

"Have a good day y/n"

You smiled at him once more and turned to leave. You could still feel his eyes on you.

Once you got back to the compound you saw Stephen inside talking to the team. How the hell did he get there so fast. As soon as you entered his eyes found yours.

You walked towards Tony who was talking to him.

"Stephen what are you doing here?" You were so confused on why he was there.

Tony then turned to look at you then back at him.

"You two know each other?"

You were about to speak but then Stephen interrupted.

"Something like that"

You looked at him for a bit then Clint came in the room.

"Alright we are ready to go" he said looking at both Tony and Stephen.

Tony left along with Clint and Stephen stayed. You were both quiet.

"I will go now" you said as you were about to leave but when you turned he grabbed you by the wrist and it caught you by surprise. You felt chills all over your body when he touched you. You looked at his hand that was around your wrist and then back at him. The tension between you was rising. After a moment he let go.

"I'm sorry. I don't know why I did that"

"It's okay" you said and then you left.
