Just A Girl (Dr. Strange × Y/n)

Part 9

After what america had said, everyone in the compound made sure that you were safe and that your other you wouldn't be able to find you but that's impossible. She knew where you were the day of your birthday. You didn't have anywhere else to go so, you just stayed at the compound. Everyone made sure that no one was to go inside. Or at least no one that no one knew, looked suspicious or it was the other you. Obviously. Surprisingly Stephen stayed in the compound as well. You didn't know if it was because Tony told him to, or just because he decided to. Either way, you two weren't talking. I mean you guys saw each other whenever you walked around the compound, but you only glanced at each other. It felt weird. You wanted to talk to him so badly but you didn't. You wanted him to come to you. You didnt want to seem desperate because you weren't. Sure you missed talking to him but you knew it would take time.

Two months had passed by. There was no sign of other you but no one wanted to back down and risk putting you in danger. You were inside your room. You decided to clean up a bit since you had nothing else to do and being on your phone the whole day was becoming boring. You also decided to rearrange your room. You were having trouble moving around the big stuff but you eventually did it. You layed in bed just staring at the ceiling when you heard a knock on your door.

"Come in!!" You said as you sat up on your bed.

You heard the door open and you didn't expect to see him standing in your door.

"Hello y/n" Stephen said and walked inside your room closing the door.

"Hi." You looked at him then back down.

"I see you moved around a bit" he looked around your room. You don't remember him being in your room though.

"Oh yeah.. I did" you looked back up when you realized "how do you know? You haven't been in my room" you looked at Stephen as he was facing out the door of your balcony.

He stayed silent.

"Have you been in my room?" You stood up from bed and walked towards Stephen slowly.

Again nothing. He just stood there.

"Stephen" it had been some time since you had last said his name. His actual name.

He finally turned to look at you.

"I had to make sure you were safe" he didn't get close to you. He tried to keep his distance because he thought you wanted that.

"Why are you here Stephen" you looked into his eyes and took one more step towards him.

"I wanted to apologize. For what I said two months ago. I didn't realize the way it came out when I said it. You're not just some girl y/n" he got closer to you and grabbed both of your hands in his. "You're the girl I fell for and I realized I cannot keep myself away from you. I need to make sure you're okay" he placed his hand on your cheek making you look straight into his eyes.

"Forgive me"

There it was. The moment you realized that you weren't just some girl to him. You were blind to think that way. You had though that you meant nothing to him but you were wrong.

"I forgive you Stephen" You smiled at him and he smiled back.

You noticed him starring down at your lips. So you decided to make a move. You wrapped both of your arms around his neck pulling him in, closing the space between the two of you. He kissed you passionately. Like he couldn't get enough from you. He then picked you up and had both of your legs wrapped around his torso.

He walked towards your bed putting you down. Him still on top of you. You still had your legs wrapped around him. He stopped kissing your lips and proceeded to kiss your neck. Leaving marks all over. Your legs had untangled from him. You had your hands grabbing his head close to you as he kissed your neck down to your chest. He then snaked his hand under your blouse his hand going up and down your waist.

He went back up from your chest to start kissing your lips again. Suddenly there was a knock on the door that made both of you jump.

"Y/n you in there?"

"Shit it's my dad. You should probably get out of here" you stood up from bed. "Yes give me a minute!!"

Stephen smiled at you. "See you later" he gave you one more kiss before leaving out the balcony.

You smiled and went to open the door.

"Hey dad what's up?"

"Hey sweetie, just wanted to make sure you're okay. Are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm good" of course you are. After what happened with Stephen how could you not be good.

"Okay well come downstairs to get distracted with the rest for a bit" he smiled.

"Okay I'll head down there in a bit" you smiled back and then he left.

You put on some comfortable clothes before heading downstairs with everyone else.

When you got there everyone was having drinks. Nat was in the bar making them. She was really good at it. She would be the one making drinks every time there was a party in the compound. You saw your parents along with your siblings in the kitchen table. You started to approach nat and saw Stephen sitting in the couch with a drink on his hand. He looked at you and smiled. You smiled back and looked away.

You got to where nat was with wanda. You saw that they were smiling at each other and when they saw you getting there, they acted as if you didn't see then laughing and smiling. You approached them glaring at them.

"Why are you two all smiley" you asked as you sat down next to wanda

"We aren't smiling" nat tried not to smile as she poured you a drink.

You glared at her then back at wanda who was trying not to laugh.

"So did something happen between you and strange?"

"I knew it. You two know something" you grabbed your drink.

"No we don't but we saw the way you two looked at each other when you came in"

"Tell us what happened" wanda added

"We kissed"

"Well. Why am I not surprised" nat smiled.

"Did something else happen?" Wanda asked.

"Let's just say almost"

Wanda looked at nat and she raised an eyebrow at you smiling.

You, Nat and wanda kept talking for some time and then strange started to approach the bar. Nat gave you the look to let you know that Stephen was walking towards the bar.

You smiled to yourself and then felt his hand on your back and placed his cup of glass on the counter. Nat took it and poured the drink he wanted.

"Anything interesting happening here?" He asked as he took back his drink.

"Ask y/n" Nat smiled and looked at you.

You felt Stephen's gaze turn to you. You turned back to look at him and he was smiling down at you. His hand started motioning up and down against your back.

"Just some talk about work" you smiled.

"Okay" he said before winking at you and then leaving.

"Seems like he can't get enough of you" wanda added and you laughed.
