I can't believe it... vampires really exist!!! - Part 4

Dante walked over to his closet and opened the right top door, he reached up and took a few books from the top shelf. He held the books in his arms and walked over to his bed, you followed him and as he sat down on the bed you sat down next to him, but not too close. “Okay… here are the books that were written by Dracula and some vampire hunters as well” Dante said looking over at you as he handed you the first book. You took it from him feeling your arms get tired quickly from the weight of the book “Wow this book is big and heavy!” you said as you placed the book on your lap. Dante laughed “Yea it is pretty big, but that’s because it’s so full of information” he said smiling at you “I just hope that the information in here will help me know the true facts” you said sheepishly. Dante cocked an eyebrow at you “Well it seems that you don’t trust me” he said making a sad face “Oh no I do trust you, even though I don’t know you that well, but I…” you were cut of by Dante placing his hand on your shoulder “Lilly relax, I was just kidding” he said smiling at you. You felt your cheeks heat up and you dumbly replied “Oh…” you laughed nervously.

You started opening the book and flipping through the pages till something caught your attention. You started reading and quickly got so wrapped up in the book you didn’t notice anything else happening around you. Dante sat beside you as you read moving closer a little.

                                                                   

Dante’s POV:

I sat next to Lilly as she seemed to just zoom out, she looked so focused on the book she was reading. I slowly started to move closer to her, I wanted to know what she was thinking about so badly, but of course I couldn’t. I was practically right next to her, side by side and she didn’t even seem to notice it… without realizing it I was staring at her, she had a total serious look on her face as she was reading, but at the same time an out-in-space kind of look as if she was living herself into the book. As I was staring at her I noticed something *Wow for a girl she really is pale* I thought and as I was lost in my thoughts without realizing it my hand was moving towards hers and before I could think twice I touched her hand for about 3 seconds and yet again I noted something particular *Her hand… is cold… almost as cold… as mine* I thought with a shocked expression on my face and to my surprise she didn’t even notice I touched her hand *Ok she is wrapped up in that book way to deep* I thought while looking at her.

I started waving my hand slowly in front of her face, but no response from her. “Lilly” I said and waved my hand in front of her face again, but sadly no response again. “Lilly!!” I said louder this time and waved my hand in front of her face more frantically and yet she still didn’t respond. I sighed *Geez I’ve never seen anybody so wrapped up in a book that they don’t notice the things happening around them* I thought feeling a little down, but that soon disappeared as I started thinking *What could I possible do to attract her attention towards me* and just then I got an idea with a huge smirk on my face I moved closer to her face until my lips were an inch away from her ear. I smiled and huskily whispered into her ear “Lilly…” letting my breath blow slowly over her ear.

Normal POV:    

You were still reading the book very intently as you then suddenly felt something near your ear “Lilly…” Dante whispered into your ear, his voice very husky and his breath slowly blowing over your ear. Your whole body shuddered under his ice cold breath “Y-yes…” you practically whispered the words as they left your lips and just as those words left your lips you realized how it sounded and your face immediately went bright red and as hot as fire. Dante chuckled and looked at you smirking “You enjoying the book?” he asked still smirking ever so widely at you, “Y-yea I am t-thank you” you said your face still red. “Sorry bout that but it seems that that was the only way for me to get your attention away from that book” he said pointing to the book on your lap. You gave a silly laugh “Yea sorry bout that but I did warn you the first day we met bout how I just zoom out whenever I’m reading something really good” you said sticking your tongue out at Dante, he made a shocked face and then pouted “Ouch that hurts my feelings” he said pouting even more than before. You laughed at his pouty face and then patted his back “Aww I’m sorry, does the puppy want a little treat?” you mockingly asked him. Dante pouted again crossing his arms “Your so mean” he said looking away from you, you started laughing at his child-like behaviour and soon he joined you. When both of you stopped laughing there was suddenly some silence as neither one of you spoke and you just sat on the bed looking at each other.
