The next 3 days passed with flying colours, yet they were so boring it made you want to cry. Each morning you would wake up, dress, eat breakfast, go to school, do school related stuff, go home, keep yourself busy with something, have dinner, take a shower then go to bed. You haven’t seen Dante for a while now since he has a lot of meetings to go to lately and you’re busy with school. During these past 3 days you also noticed that someone was watching you or that’s what it felt like to you... you would even say that sometimes you could feel 2 pairs of eyes on you, you would turn your head to see if you couldn’t maybe spot the person or persons but you would never see anyone suspicious just the other students around you.

It was Thursday night and you just finished taking a shower and putting on your pj’s when your cell phone started to ring. You picked up your cell phone and slid it open putting it to your ear “Hello?” you said into your phone, “Hi Lilly” the person on the other end of the line greeted. A smile spread across your face as you realized who it was “Hey Dante, how are you?” you asked sitting down on your bed “I’m good and you?” he replied “Yea good, just very bored lately” you admitted. Dante laughed “Don’t worry the weekend is almost here” he reminded “Yea thank heaven” you said smiling.

“So what’s new?” he asked, you tapped your chin as you thought and remembered the feelings you’ve been getting lately of being watched but you decided not to tell Dante since you weren’t sure of whether it was just your imagination. “Oh nothing, like I said I’m just bored lately” you answered lying back onto your bed. “Oh well maybe we can try doing something together this weekend.. maybe go to the upcoming carnival together” he suggested, your cheeks flushed *Is Dante asking me out on a date?* you thought biting your lip. “Uhm… yea that sounds like fun” you replied smiling. Dante chuckled “Okay, well I’ll leave you alone now so you can sleep, so see you soon?” he said “Yea, see you soon” you said smiling. “Bye” he said softly “Bye Dante” you whispered then took the phone away from your ear.

You grabbed your cell phone from your room as your mom honked the horn outside, signalling you were late, you were always slower with everything on a Friday. You ran downstairs and out the front door then climbed into the front seat of the car. “Are you sure you’re not forgetting anything now?” your mom asked with an annoyed expression, you grimaced “I believe so” you replied. Your mom put the car in reverse and left the driveway. Your mom started talking to you but you didn’t hear what she was saying as you were lost in thought, thinking about the conversation you and Dante had on the phone last night.

*I hope me and Dante will be able to go to the carnival together… I don’t even know when the carnival is! I think it’s this Saturday… I’ll just have to ask May. It’s gonna be so much fun! And the best part is we can go at night so we don’t have to worry about Dante getting exposed to too much sunlight* you thought smiling as you looked out the window. “Lilly!” your mom yelled which made you jump in your seat, you twisted your head in her direction “Huh?” you asked still in shock. “Did you hear anything I just told you?” she asked raising an eyebrow at you, you laughed nervously rubbing the back of your neck. Your mom sighed “Oh never mind. So are you and Dante going to the carnival together?” your mom asked a smirk spreading across her face. Your eyes grew wide “Uhm… I don’t know, maybe. We haven’t decided yet” you answered looking down. Your mom smiled “I think you two should go, it could be a nice, romantic date then you two could ride the Ferris wheel together and make out at the top of it” your mom commented, your face caught fire “Mom!” you yelled glaring at her.
