I can't believe it... vampires really exist!!! - Part 9

Your cell phones alarm went crazy and you lazily opened your eyes, you took a hold of your cell phone and brought it closer to your eyes “What? It’s only 8 am… and it’s a Saturday too. Why is my alarm going off then?” you asked yourself looking at your cell phone “Oh well… must be something wrong with my phone, I’m going back to sleep” you mumbled to yourself lying back down in your bed. You were snuggling into your bed covers when your eyes suddenly shot open “Ahhh oh no!!” you yelled holding your head between your hands “My alarm went off for a reason! Dante is gonna pick me up soon and I still have a lot to do!” you screamed jumping out of your bed and running into the bathroom.

You quickly stripped yourself of your clothes and stepped into the shower, making sure you clean every inch of yourself. About 10 minutes later you step out of the shower grabbing a towel and wrapping it around your torso, you walked out of the bathroom and over to your closet, you opened the closet and stood there looking at all your clothes *Ehm… what to wear today…* you thought and looked over to your window that was beside your bed *… well it’s still dark and cloudy outside, maybe even a little windy* you thought looking back to your closet “Well in that case I think I’ll wear this skirt, this shirt, these stockings and these boots” you said as you pulled the items out of your closet.

You quickly changed into your clothes then combed your hair and tied them into two pigtails, you applied a layer of eyeliner and some mascara and put some colourless lip-gloss on. You went to the kitchen and made yourself a cup of coffee, while drinking your coffee you packed your bag putting in it your cell phone, lip-gloss and a little bottle of perfume you always wear. You just finished your coffee when you heard a car honking outside your house, you grabbed your bag and went out the front door.

Parked on the side of the road was Dante’s car with him leaning with his back against the car, you smiled when you saw him and started walking towards him. Dante looked up from the ground and looked at you as you were walking towards him, he smiled at first, but then his expression went from happiness to total amazement. You saw the way Dante’s face expression suddenly changed and felt worry creep over you “What? Is something wrong?” you asked rubbing your arm nervously “N-no not at all! It’s just… you look… awesome” Dante said still looking at you. You felt like you were suddenly thrown into lava as your cheeks went crimson red “T-thank you” you said looking down trying to hide your blush.

“So shall we go?” Dante asked smiling at you, you looked up and returned the smile “Yes let’s”. You went over to the other side of the car and climbed in, Dante doing the same, once the car doors were closed Dante started the car and began to drive to his home. At first both of you were silent as if neither of you knew what to say, but Dante was the first to break the silence “So, did you have a good nights sleep?” he asked glancing over at you “Oh yes thank you and how bout you?” you asked looking over at him “Like a rock thanks” Dante replied, you looked down to your legs and said “Oh that’s good”.

*What’s wrong with me today? Why am I so nervous? I wasn’t like this yesterday* you thought fiddling with your fingers. You were snapped out of your daze when the car came to a quick halt, when you looked up you were staring at the huge gate of Dante’s house. “Well we’re here… again” Dante said taking the small remote-thing out of his pocket “Walter, the gate please” Dante said into the remote “Yes young master, right away” Walter’s voice said from the remote. The gate opened and Dante drove in, he stopped in front of the house switching of the car. Walter walked over to your side of the car and opened your door “Thank you” you said and climbed out.

Dante walked in front of you going to the huge entrance door, he opened the door and waited for you to enter first. Once you were inside you felt a bit more relaxed, Dante went over to the stairs then turned around and looked at you “You coming Lilly?” he asked “Huh? Oh yea” you said and walked over to the stairs. You both began to climb the stairs and in that time there was complete silence *Is it just me or is today just totally weird? Like there is something wrong or just not right* you thought, as you were deep in thought you didn’t notice Dante stop at the top of the stairs and you walked right into him “Ah…” the sound escaped your mouth as you made contact with Dante.

The bump was hard enough to make you loose your balance and start to fall backwards, as you felt yourself go backwards you quickly looked behind you and realized that you were gonna fall down the stairs seeing as you were standing at the top of the stairs earlier *Oh crap… this is gonna hurt like hell* you thought and closed your eyes waiting for the pain to begin. About 15 seconds later you opened one eye still looking behind you and wondering why you haven’t felt any pain yet *Heh… I should have hit something by now* you thought and opened your other eye to see that you were in the air, not even touching the ground anymore.

*What the…* you thought and that’s when you finally realized that something was under your back and knees. You slowly turned your head to the left and then you saw that Dante’s face was close to yours, you looked down from his face and realized that Dante was the one holding you in the air… bridal style. You felt your whole body heat up like a thermometer and you immediately covered your face with your hands, incredible embarrassed. “Lilly, are you okay?” Dante asked looking down at you, you moved your fingers away from your eyes a little bit, just enough to see Dante looking at you “Y-yea I-I’m f-fine” you stuttered.

Dante kept staring down at you a concerned look on his face “Uhm… you can put me down now, I’ll be fine” you said removing your hands from your face and putting them on your lap. Suddenly Dante’s grip on you tightened a bit and he held you up a bit higher and way closer to him “Oh no I don’t think so, I’m not putting you down now forget it… I’m gonna carry you to my room first” he said and turned towards the top of the stairs “Oh no…” you peeped and put your hands over your face again.

Dante reached his bedroom door and pushed it open then closing it behind him with his foot. He walked over to his bed and put you down on the left side of the bed and Dante stood next to you, you lay on the bed as stiff as a statue *How embarrassing… I’m such an idiot!* you thought to yourself “I’m sorry, I just bumped into you cause I wasn’t looking where I was going” you said laughing slightly “I’m fine really, was just deep in thought instead of looking where I was going” you explained rubbing the back of your neck nervously. Dante looked at you still concerned “Are you sure?” he asked raising an eyebrow at you, you smiled warmly and sat up on the bed “Yes I am, don’t worry” you reassured Dante and looked at him. He still stared at you for a while then finally smiled “That’s good, I’m relieved” he said and put his right hand over his heart.
