Mr. Hellsing’s POV:

I turned onto my side in my bed to find that my darling wife wasn’t beside me. I sat up and looked around our room. *When did she get out of bed? I didn’t even realize that she went out of the room… I was too deep in thought* I thought blinking my eyes. I climbed out of bed and quickly pulled a shirt over my head then headed out of the room. I made my way towards the kitchen and about half way there a delicious scent entered my nose. I opened the kitchen door and saw Victoria standing at the table. I smiled walking over to her then kissed her on the cheek “Morning love” I greeted. She smiled at me “Good morning dear” she said.

I looked at the table seeing 2 plates with flapjacks, 2 empty glasses, a jug with orange juice, a tiny bowl filled with cream, another tiny bowl filled with strawberry pieces and a bottle of syrup. I looked at Victoria as she placed all the items on a silver tray. “Victoria… what are you doing?” I asked raising an eyebrow at her, she walked towards the kitchen door “I made breakfast, Alucard” she answered. I followed her out of the kitchen “But why?” I inquired confused. She kept walking in the direction of the dining room. “Because it’s Sunday, meaning our staff are off for the day” she informed, I walked a little faster to catch up to her. “I know that, but what’s the breakfast for… I mean we don’t eat after all” I said.

She stopped and nodded her head towards the dining room doors. I looked at her then the doors and sighed and then I pushed the doors open. She walked through and straight towards the big table. She set the tray down and placed the items on the right places, exactly where Dante and Lilly sat last time they had dinner with us. Victoria looked at me “We might not eat but Dante and Lilly do” she pointed out, I blinked my eyes rapidly “Lilly’s here?” I asked surprised. She nodded her head “After the carnival it seems that Lilly decided to spend the night here” she informed smiling, “I didn’t even know” I said astonished. Victoria’s smile got bigger “I heard them coming in last night, I was in the kitchen but they didn’t notice me so I peeked over the swing-doors and saw them as they headed for Dante’s room… they were holding hands and smiling” she said.

I shook my head smiling “Ever since I told you that Lilly pricked her finger on the rose and that Dante’s going to tell her she’s his soul mate, you can’t seem to calm down, can you?” I stated, Victoria shook her head grinning. I laughed. “I’m so happy that Dante finally found his soul mate and I don’t want him to lose her so I’m doing everything I can to make her feel like she’s family” she said smiling, I chuckled “Just don’t go overboard or else you might scare her off” I suggested. She glared at me and I quickly put my hands up in the air “I’m just saying” I quickly said. “I’m going to wake them up before their breakfast gets cold” she said turning towards the doors. Suddenly an idea popped into my mind and a mischievous grin spread across my face. “Let’s have some fun first, my love” I suggested wagging my eyebrows, she looked at me sceptically “What are you thinking?” she asked slowly. “I’m just thinking I haven’t tortured my own son in a while… it’s time I make up for it” I said. Victoria’s eyes grew wide “Oh no, no Alucard” she said firmly.

I smirked then took off full speed towards Dante’s room. About 3 seconds later I was in front of his door, Victoria was behind me just a second later. “Alucard, no. You’ll embarrass him in front of Lilly” she pointed out frowning, “No I won’t… well not too much anyway” I admitted grinning. Victoria rolled her eyes then sighed “Fine… but first I wanna take some pictures of the two in the bed together” she said running off. I furrowed my eyebrows then shook my head *Woman… how strange* I thought sarcastically. Victoria appeared with the camera in her hand “Okay, I’m ready” she said smiling. I smirked opening the door slowly, making sure we’re quieter than a mouse.
