Your POV:

Your alarm went off and your eyes shot open then you groaned and closed them again “I don’t wanna get up” you mumbled pouting. You sighed as you slowly started to climb out of your bed, you walked into your bathroom and towards the sink. You brushed your teeth and washed your face then went to your closet. You opened up your closet and stared at the clothes boredly before you took out your school uniform. You quickly dressed and then combed your hair, tying them into two ponies like you usually do then sprayed on some perfume, put on your shoes, grabbed your bag and then went downstairs.

You were half-way down the stairs when you could smell pancakes, you smiled going down the stairs faster. You saw your mom in front of the stove and went over to her, giving her a kiss on the cheek. “Morning mom” you greeted and sat down at the table placing your back next to you. “Hi honey, sleep well?” your mom asked placing the pancake onto a pile of pancakes on a plate. “Yea, but I still feel tired” you admitted drinking some of the guava juice in the glass. Your mom rolled her eyes as she walked over to you with the plate of pancakes “Honey… you’re always tired whenever you have to go to school” your mom pointed out and you just grinned. “Now eat, before Dante shows up” your mom ordered as she placed 3 pancakes into the plate in front of you.

                              

Your eyes grew wide “Why would Dante be showing up here this early in the morning?” you said trying to sound innocent as you picked up the syrup. “Nice try, hun… I know Dante is picking you up this morning, I overheard him asking you if he could” your mom informed smirking. You narrowed your eyes at her “You were listening in on our conversation!” you accused cutting off a piece of your pancakes, “Well honey, you two weren’t exactly 20 meters away from the car nor were either of you really whispering” your mom pointed out. You opened your mouth to protest but you ended up sighing in defeat. “Now finish eating” your mom said pouring syrup over her pancakes, “Fine” you mumbled stuffing a piece of pancake into your mouth.

When you finished you picked up your bag and hanged it on your shoulder then walked towards the front door and stood in front of it. Your mom walked over to you then held something out to you “Did you forget something?” she asked smiling, you looked down at her hand and saw a packet of spearmint Beechies. You took them from her and smiled “Thanks mom” you said as you took out one and put it in your mouth. Just then the doorbell rang and you practically jumped through the door from shock. Your mom moved passed you and opened the door “Hello Dante” she greeted smirking, “Good morning Mrs. Lee” he replied. “Uhm.. I’m here to pick up Lilly to take her to school” he informed, your mom nodded “Yes, please make sure she gets there” your mom said smiling. “I will Mrs. Lee” he answered. You moved passed your mom and turned around to face her “Thanks mom and bye mom” you said quickly hugging her then you grabbed Dante’s hand and quickly walked towards his car in the driveway.
