It was 6 in the evening when I finally decided to prepare and get myself a proper outfit. Kakagising ko lang din so I need to move a lil' faster, because I know any minute by now is darating na yung mga kaibigan ko to pick me up.

As soon as I've finished bathing nagbihis muna ako ng simpleng pambahay na damit. Nakabalot pa nga ng towel yung buhok ko ng mapag-isipan kong bumaba muna para tumulong kila mama.

Pagkababa nakita ko agad si Aira na nakatambay sa sala habang hawak ang phone nya. She seems not to notice my presence, so I go to the kitchen, where I immediately saw my mama cooking.

"Tulungan ko na po kayo ma." I said and got myself an apron to wear.

"Hindi na, ako na dito Seri. Teka diba aalis ka ngayon?" Sabi niya, still facing what she's cooking.

"Opo, kasama ko sila Andrea. Okay lang po ba?"

"Oo naman, basta magiingat kayo and make sure na hindi ka uuwi ng lasing kung hindi grounded ka for weeks ha." She calmly said na para bang alam na alam na niya ang magiging resulta nun.

"Opo." I answered and pull myself a seat.

I'm busy staring at my mom's back when my phone suddenly beep. I took it out from my pocket and stared at it, wondering who's the one fussing around.

Kio Finnegan:
Hey love?

Love your face. I didn't know how this guy managed to call me by that endearment.

Kio Finnegan:
Didn't you want to recognize my messages? How sad:(

Seri Acker:
What do you want?

Kio Finnegan:
Ouch! You really think I need something, that's why I'm messaging you?:(

Seri Acker:
Doesn't it?

Kio Finnegan:

Seri Acker:
Who the F are you? Are you one of my friends, who's messing with me again?

Kio Finnegan:
I'm not. I don't even know them eh.

Then eat now. By the way I'm going somewhere, you wanna come with me?

Seri Acker:
As if I'm going out with you.

Kio Finnegan:

Seri Acker:
Suit yourself then.

Kio Finnegan:
Is that a yes? God, I can't wait.

Seri Acker:
Gotta go. I'm going somewhere too eh.

Kio Finnegan:
Where are you going? Be safe love.

Seri Acker:
Mawawala, sama ka ba?

Kio Finnegan:
Can I? Sure drop address, I'll go there.

Seri Acker:
Gosh! You kiddin' me? What if I'm a bad person? You'll still go?

Kio Finnegan:
I'm not. And if you're a bad person then let's be bad together.

Seri Acker:
Shocks! Cheesy men 🤮.

And just like that, I ended the conversation without waiting for his reply.
