I rushed out of my room as soon as I finished spraying perfume all over myself. "Bhaiyya let's go" I shouted from the living room.
"Alright chill" He shouted from his bedroom. "How are you early for once?" He didn't even bother rushing out when I tried to hurry him.
"Why the rush?" He asked as he slowly put on his shoes. "I swear you're just doing this on purpose now" I pointed to his shoes.
He snorted as he didn't bother to pick up his pace. "Relax no one even invited us it's not like we're gonna be rude it's an open party" He defended himself.
"Okay let's go" I grabbed his arm the second he tied his laces and pulled him out of our house. We walked over to the beach party since it wasn't that far.
"You didn't answer my question you know" He said. "What question?" I asked. "Why the rush?" He repeated his question from before.
"Nothing I'm supposed to meet Rohan there" I told him. "Hm" I turned towards him because of his reaction.
"What hm?" I asked. "Nothing nothing" We were already at the beach. I could hear chattering from a distance and music playing.
"You and Rohan are quite close" He said. "Close?" I repeated. My brother just shrugged. "Let's just say we have developed common interests" I told him.
"Aryan!" We turned to a group of guys calling my brother. "Go go I'm going to call Rohan to find him" I told him.
He walked away from me while I scrolled through my phone. I waited for Rohan to pick up as I walked around the party.
"Hey where are you?" He finally picked up. I could barely hear him over the music. "Hello?" He asked. "Yeah yeah I can hear you" I assured him.
"Where are you?" He asked again. "Uhm near the drinks table" I told him. "There are like five of them" He mentioned.
I looked around to find another object for him to spot. "Oh uhm the table near the tree" I told him as I leaned against it.
"Oh wait I see you" I spotted him as well but stopped him immediately. "Oh oh stop she's behind you" He stopped, confused.
"Who?" I rolled my eyes. "Who else idiot" I told him. I watched him realise. "Okay pretend you're having a fight over the phone" I instructed him.
"With?" I have to explain everything to him. "Your girlfriend" I explained. "With who?!" I was confused as to why he was confused.
Then I realised he had started acting. "Why the fu-you're so fucking annoying!" I was impressed by his acting. He carried on pretending like he's having a fight.
He made sure to stand right next to Ria so she could hear everything. "Why do have to be so fucking controlling?!" He shouted over the phone.
"Damn you thinking about someone or?" I joked over the phone. "Yeah you it's all you!" He yelled. "Excuse me? I am not controlling" I yelled back offended.
"All I want to do is drink some beer and chill with friends and you got a problem with that?!" He yelled over the phone.
I watched Ria look over at Rohan. "Very nice touch she's definitely invested" I told him as he continued.
"Okay now wrap up and be all frustrated before ranting to her abruptly" I instructed him. "You know what just fuck off!!" He yelled.
He made it seem like he hung up the call but I could still hear everything over the phone. He placed his phone into his jacket pocket to not make it obvious.
He turned around with frustration and placed his hands on the table behind him. He ran his fingers through his hair and breathed out loudly.
"Why do I always end up with such girls?" I started ranting. I watched Ria turn to him fully and place her hand onto his arm.
"I just wanted to have fun you know but she gotta know where I am all the time" He complained to her.
"Tell me bout it my brother's ex was like that" Ria told him. Oh fuck. Rohan's going to lose it. "Oh I'm sorry I know she was your sister" She said.
"It's alright women like that always infuriate me even if it's my own sister" He told her. I was impressed by how calm he was about the situation. A true actor I suppose.
"That's good to hear, your sister would constantly bombard my brother with questions and not let him breathe" She complained.
I wished there was a way I could tell Rohan to control himself even though he was doing a good job.
"I just wanna let loose I guess" He said to her. She poured him a shot and they downed it immediately.
They took a few more and I hoped Rohan was a strong drinker. I followed them slowly, a couple of spaces behind so I don't get caught.
Rohan listened to Ria complaining about her boyfriend. I quickly left them alone and found Ria's boyfriend.
I made sure to bump into him. "Oh I'm so sorry are you okay?" I asked innocently. "How was your romantic walk with Ria?" I asked him.
"What walk?" He questioned just like I hoped he would. "Oh I saw her walking towards the rocks with a guy so I-never mind" With that I walked away from him and disappeared into the crowd.
I watched her boyfriend walk angrily in the direction that I pointed towards. I smiled when I figured the plan is going to work.
My smile quickly dropped when I remembered Rohan needs to get out of there in time and I need to record. I didn't want Rohan in the recording even if that would be juicier.
I ran to the place they were at so I reached faster than the boyfriend. Ria's back was facing me and Rohan could clearly see me.
I waved my arms around to catch his attention. I pointed to the direction of the party where the boyfriend was coming from.
I hid behind a tree and made sure no one was looking. I heard Rohan make an excuse. "Hey let me go get us some drinks" He told her.
He started walking towards the party. I watched Ria sit on the rocks. Rohan ran and sat next to me. "Nicely done" I complimented him.
"We need a better angle" He pointed to another tree nearer to Ria. We rushed there and waited for the boyfriend to come.
"What the hell is taking him so long?" I asked eagerly. "Oh there" Rohan pointed. I pressed record on the spare phone I brought.
We recorded their whole conversation and we were close enough for perfect sound. They had a heated argument and broke up.
"I should've known you'll always be like this" The boyfriend screamed at her. "You'll never change" He told her. "Just like your brother!" He shouted.
"I was here with no one I swear" She defended herself but he didn't believe a single word she was uttering.
This was a lot more easier because the boyfriend already didn't trust Ria. They kept shouting at each other.
We finished our recording and waited for both to leave. "He made it easier for us by mentioning her brother" Rohan said.
"Exactly" I made sure the video was saved properly. We sat down and leaned against the tree next to each other.
"Alright we just gotta anonymously send this to the Instagram page" I said. I tapped around my phone before locking it.
"Done" I said proudly. "You know we make a pretty good team" I told him. "Yeah not bad" He simply said.
