The next morning, my brother and I were extremely exhausted from the night before. We ended the dinner with Rohan and Ruhi quite late.

Bhaiyya insisted that we dropped them home first. We reached home at about one in the morning and immediately went off to bed.

"Why do we have to do this again?" I asked him dreadfully. "Because it's good for our health" I groaned as I tied my laces.

My brother was forcing me to go running with him. He barged into my room as soon as we woke up and told me to come running with him.

"Who runs willingly?" I whined as I started running after him. I liked to work out but my brother was on a whole other level.

I cannot compete with this man. He was a gym freak. "Bhaiyya how long more?" I whined. He chuckled at me.

"How are you going to be an actor?" He laughed at me and I rolled my eyes at him. Although, he had a point.

"The only thing I'm looking forward to..." I panted. "...after this run..." It was hard to complete my sentence.

"...Rohan is bringing me breakfast" I finally finished my sentence. "Really? That's nice" My brother said.

"Uhm...I told him...to bring his sister...too" This conversation would be so much easier if I wasn't being forced to run.

"Oh uhm yeah that's nice" I smirked as I saw my brother blush. "Ruhi...is nice...and now she's single" I told him.

"No Suhana I know what you're thinking" He said. We finally came to a halt. I walked around to catch my breath.

"Don't interfere between us" He warned me. "Why would I?" I said awkwardly. "I don't know but last night I thought that was your plan for us" I froze.

"Then I saw how close you and Rohan were so I figured maybe not" He told me. "Right" I mumbled softly.

"Come let's go" He said. We started walking back to the house. We had already made a round of the block. We stopped right in front of the house.

"Oh they might already be here I told him where our spare key is hidden" I informed my brother and he nodded.

I told Rohan to come early not for my brother but because I was starving. "Yeah the door is unlocked" My brother told me.

We walked inside and took off our shoes. I walked further into the house and yelled for Rohan. "Rohan you here?" I asked.

"Ro-" I stopped at my tracks when I saw my parents on the sofa using their iPad

"Ro-" I stopped at my tracks when I saw my parents on the sofa using their iPad. "Not Rohan but your parents are here" My dad said without looking away from the iPad.

"Sue where's R-Ma?" My brother finally walked in behind me and noticed our parents. "Hi sweetie" My mom greeted us and we just stood there stunned.

"Shah? Why are our kids looking at us like we're strangers?" Our mom asked. "Maybe because they've been away from too long" Our dad said.

"Maybe we should take them back to India" We snapped out of our daze immediately. "No" "No no" My brother and I exclaimed together.

"We just-uhm" I started. "You surprised us that's all" My brother finished for me and I immediately agreed by nodding.

My brother moved forward and said, "It's so good to see you two" He had his arms opened but our mom stopped him.

"Nuh uh take a shower" She instructed him. "Yes ma'am" He immediately agreed and left the room.

They both looked at me as I stood there in my running wear. "Oh!" I finally realised. "Right me go shower too" I quickly rushed off.

I heard my parents snort as I realised. Before I shut the door of my room, I heard my parents talking.

"Who's Rohan?" My dad asked. "If I remember correctly..." My mom started answering his question.

I realised I had told my mom everything about Rohan. Everything that even bhaiyya didn't know and I didn't want him to know.

"...Rohan is on the not liked list from NYU" She told my dad. "I don't why he'd be here" She pointed out. Great another problem I thought.

Apparently, our parents had come to surprise us with our baby brother, AbRam, for the holidays since their schedules were cleared out.

They had all arrived this morning and entered the house with their spare key. Bhaiyya and I showered before walking downstairs to greet our family.

We were finally allowed to hug them, now that we weren't covered in sweat. "Who's that?" AbRam asked when the doorbell rang.

I forgot Rohan and Ruhi were coming over. "That would be didi's boyfriend" I smacked bhaiyya's arm when he told everyone that.

"What? You never hide your boyfriends" He said as he rubbed his arm. "It's always me you're hiding it from" He muttered as he went to open the door.

That was true, bhaiyya was always the last person to find out because he was the most protective of me in the family.

"Is he a boyfriend that should be hidden?" My dad asked me sternly. "No papa I- I just wanted to tell you myself" I told him with a smile.

He nodded slowly and we turned to the voices coming from the front door. Rohan and Ruhi walked in with shock on their faces.

Bhaiyya could've at least warned them. We all stood there equally awkward when my mom spoke up.

"So are you Rohan?" She asked. "How'd you know?" Bhaiyya asked. "There was a slight mention of him" I looked away from her.

I remembered our conversation about him in New York. "Good things I hope" He chuckled awkwardly.

"Hmm" Was all my mom said, knowing full well, not a single thing was good in that conversation. I prayed she won't say anything.

"Is that food?" AbRam asked innocently as he poked the bag Rohan was holding in his hand. "Oh yeah buddy you hungry?" He asked.

I smiled at their cute interaction. "This is Ruhi, Rohan's big sister and coincidentally a friend of mine" Bhaiyya introduced Ruhi.

"Namaste Aunty, namaste uncle" Rohan and I smiled when my parents were clearly impressed by Ruhi.

"Your friend huh?" My dad asked, probably shocked that he was friends with someone so well-mannered. "Yeah same college" My brother said.

"You are so beautiful my dear" My mom said. My mother doesn't compliment just anyone so I had high hopes.

"Food people" AbRam caught our attention. "Alright buddy let's eat" Bhaiyya picked him up and we all walked over to the dining table.
