Lacey blindly followed him out of the building. Tate opened the door and she became aware of her surrounded. The New York's streets were crowded and busy. The cars zoomed by the people walked too fast to even glance your way. Was anyone watching? would they be watching her every move? feeling insecure and paranoid she wrapped her arms tightly around her. By now the sun was slowly starting to fade away in the clear blue sky. Tate slowed his pace and she caught up with him. Glancing around at all the people it found it strange that Tate was the only man wearing a suit. Actually Tate stuck out. He was well over six feet and extremely handsome.
"Over here."
He instructed waving to a small restaurant. Wait. Was that his plan? To go out to dinner? Her stomach couldn't bare to drink water let alone eat.
"Why are we going to "Steak and Roast?"
He ignored her as he flung the door opened. She followed him inside the old fashion building. It immediately gave off spooky feeling. The lights were dim and there wasn't many tables. She instantly got closer to Tate.
