49- Pain healer

Sid pov,

I felt so helpless seeing her broken. She is crying, falling on her knees in front of her mother’s memorial. I can feel her pain. I just found the truth to remove her painful past and show the greatness of her mother, but now I regret it. She is broken, and all these tears are because of me. I should have thought this before saying her truth. Her anger is better than this pain.

“Baby, please calm down. It’s killing me to see you like this” I whispered, taking her in my embrace. She cried on my shoulder.

“I cursed her so much. She deserves love, but I always blamed her“ She sobbed with guilt.

“She always wanted you to be happy, and she is happy in heaven looking at us, but today these tears can make her cry” I whispered, taking her in a tight hug. I don’t know how to comfort her. We sat there as she continued crying vigorously.

Suddenly, we heard baby cries around and they turned louder. She looked up hearing it. Is it Ian? I looked around to find Ian crying louder with hiccups.

“What happened?” I shouted towards William, who came to us with crying, Ian. She got up from me, wiping her tears, and took Ian in her arms.

“Momma is here. I went nowhere. Don’t cry my baby” She cheered him rubbing his back comforting him. She gulped her tears and tried to smile back. William passed the sipper bottle to make him drink water. She made him drink some. Soon he stopped crying, and she seriously forgot the past break down. Wonderful! I think this is the magic of motherhood. She forgot her pain, looking at our baby crying. Our baby is the healer of her pain.

“Aww, my superman!! You are greater than your dad... My magician" I chuckled, taking in my arms tickling him. He giggled as nuzzled my nose with his. I signed William to get the flower wreath. He got it in meantime.

“She loves your smile. Tell her thanks for all the sacrifices and be happy. She did everything for your happiness. If your unhappy, her soul will remain unhappy. As a daughter, it’s your responsibility to give her peace.” I mumbled, forwarding her wreath. She smiled back and placed the flower wreath on her memorial.

“Thanks for everything, mom. I’m sorry for misunderstanding you,” she mourned in her painful tone.

“Thanks for gifting a wonderful wife, my great mother-in-law. You gave me the best gift,” I chuckled, cheering up.

“She gifted my prestigious award, Ian within two years. She knows the value of my hard work day and night” I chuckled with a naughty grin, making her blush. She slapped my shoulder playfully. Ian giggled, seeing us smiling.

“Look, my son also hates you crying” I growled. She smiled, kissing Ian. Thank God, gave me pain, but you gave me a remedy too. You completed my every wish and made my life blissful.

We walked out towards our car. But my steps are halted by her sudden question.

“Who is my father?” She asked, looking into my eyes. I can’t tell her truth. This truth can hurt her. I can’t let her dig deep into this matter.

“He passed away after your mom’s death. He is not so famous“ I lied looking away.

“But I should at least know his name right”

“No, you’re Mrs. Sid and you need not know such a dog’s name. Get in the car, it’s getting dark.” I said opening the car door. As she adjusted in her seat, I gave Ian to her to feed him before closing the doors.

“Sir Richard is searching for her. How long you can hide the truth? He may definitely reach her.” William shared his doubt.

“She is no more an orphan, Sana. She is Juliet for this world and Mrs. Sid for me. Mother of my baby. I don’t let him take away my baby. She is mine.” He narrowed his eyes in disbelief.

“But DNA, you didn’t marry her officially. He can take her away by the court. He can win any suit. You know well he is the top dangerous billionaire. If Edward sir finds out this truth. He will definitely use this to make profit. She is also a billionaire’s daughter and Edward sir will accept your marriage.” William expressed outcomes of discloser of truth, but I know Richard more. He is dangerous, poisonous. I know he is searching for his child from the past 20 years, but I recently found that Sana is his daughter. He married a rich girl but because of an accident, he got a disability that he cannot be a father and then he decided to take away Sana from her mother. He came to know about her mother’s dismissal. He thought his child turned as a street kid or adopted by someone. If he finds her, Sana’s life will be miserable like mine. I don’t want her away from me. I don’t want to share her. I want her all for me and my son.

“Edward shouldn’t know this. I want her. She is only mine”

“But..”

“Cut the crap... I want her... It’s your duty to take care of her security. Only we both know the truth and she should never find her father’s truth.”

“If she finds?” William asked.

“She trusts me, William. She only thinks and believes what I say. That’s what I trained her mind from the past three years. She behaves according to me and now she had a deviation for lifetime. Ian! She can think about leaving me but our baby. She can’t even stay for a second without him. My baby is my strength and her weakness.”

“Sir, you’re thinking so selfish. Richard will make her princess. She owns billions. You can’t separate her with her father.”

“Oh, shut up! William. He just had s** with her mother. He never wanted a serious relationship. It’s just she was born out of mistake and her mother gave her life to gift her good life and she got it after meeting me. She is happy like a princess in my palace.”

“Sir, you can’t talk like this after knowing everything. You don’t need to answer me, but one day you should answer yourself,” William growled, walking towards the driving seat leaving me.

“Get in hubby” she called me from the car. I rifled my hair in frustration, calming my nerves, and got it. I should think about something to secure my place in her life. I know she cannot leave me, but still, it’s better to keep things on my own. I should first register my marriage before my dad or Richard reaches her.
