First Fight

🍕Sam🍕
Jodi had invited you over for dinner to get to know her husband Kent a little since he came back recently. She had also mentioned that Sam didn't know you were coming, and it was supposed to be a surprise. So when you entered their home bearing the best largemouth bass you could find, you weren't quite expecting the thick fog of tension you walked into. Sam seemed much more formal when both his parents were around, more stiff. Referring to Jodi as ma'm.

Dinner was delicious, but very awkward. You, Jodi, and Vincent were really the only ones to talk at dinner. At the end, Sam just excused himself and went outside. Jodi gave you a worrying glance, so you stood as well, "I'll go talk to him.." Her face was washed with relief as she nodded.

Sam was leaning against the tree outside his house. "Sammy?" No response. You stood next to him, but he still didn't move. "Do you want to talk?" "No" you sighed, "Sammy I know you don't get along...the best...with your dad but-" "Would you stop? You don't know anything about what I've been through with him! Can you just keep your nose out of something for once!?" Sam nearly yelled. You took a step back, tears stinging at your eyes. "You're right...sorry Sam.." "Just leave..." Sam stalked back into his house, slamming the door behind him. You let the tears fall freely and began the long walk back to your house.

🏈Alex🏈
You were trying to get along better with Sebastian. Robin mentioned that Sebastian really liked frozen tears, so you've been bringing him some lately. You just wanted to get closer to everyone in town, but that's not how it looked in Alex's eyes. All he knew is that you were constantly giving presents to Sebastian, even after he promised you that he only thought about you, but did you only think about him? Were you actually going to leave him for the emo kid?

You were taking the backroad between your farm and the mountains back home, when you saw Alex leaning against one of the pine trees. "Alex? What are you doing here?" He had an angry look etched in his face. "Is...everything ok?" "Depends, I heard you've been visiting Sebastian more and giving him a lot of presents?" You looked at him confused, "I wouldn't say I'm spending time with him? Just bringing him some extra frozen tears I find" Alex stood up straighter, "You think he's better than me? Can he treat you the way I do?" "What? Alex I'm not-" "I guess I should've seen it coming. I'm just the dumb jock and he's the smart tech guy. You would like him more. Well maybe instead of seeing him behind my back, I'll let you be with him all the time" "But Alex-" Alex walked right past you, not meeting your gaze, "Seeya farmer". You were frozen to the spot. You listened as his foot steps got farther and farther away. It was dark by the time you really snapped out of it, "what just happened...did he just...break up with me?"

✈️Harvey✈️
You did everything you could to not get too terribly hurt in the mines, in respect of Harvey's worries, but levels 100 and up were pretty brutal. You still didn't pass out, but you were pretty banged up...for the third time this week. You sighed, "Crap Harvey's gonna be mad..." you told yourself as you hoisted yourself into the mine cart, and set yourself on course for the bus station.

"Mocha! Are you ok!?" Harvey immediately ran over to you. "I'm fine doc, nothing you can't fix" you said as you pulled out your wallet to pay for the services. Harvey was very quiet through the whole process. Once you were fixed up, you stood up and stretched, "Thanks doc, I better get back to the farm" you lowered yourself to kiss Harvey, but he moved away. "___ can I talk to you about something?" "Uh sure" you tentatively sat down again and Harvey took your hands in his. He took a deep breath, "I don't want you going into the mines anymore" Silence. "What?" "It seems like everytime you go down there you get so hurt! I don't want to see you down there anymore! A-as your boyfriend, I won't let you go down there anymore!" You frowned and retracted your hands, "Harvey, I understand that you hate seeing me hurt, and I really try not to. I just gotta get some sturdier boots and a better weapon from Marlon and the rest of the mines will be a piece of cake." "And if it's not? What if you pass out down there and it takes too long for someone to find you!? You can't do it!" You narrowed your eyes and stood up, "Harvey, I appreciate the concern, but you don't have that right to boss me around like that." "Then as your doctor-" "No you didn't try to stop me as my doctor. You tried to stop me as my boyfriend, that's not ok!" You took a deep breath, "I think I need to be alone for a bit Harvey..." "Wait ___-!" You didn't wait for him to finish, you left the clinic.

🐸Sebastian🐸
You've had arguments before, but you two have never had a full on fight...yet. One common argument topic though, was his smoking. You would always tell him he should stop because it's bad for him, and he'd just tell you that you sound like his mom, leaving him a bit annoyed with you, but you usually couldn't stay mad at each other for long. This time you may have pushed it too far.

"Seb I really think you should quit smoking..." you told him again. Sebastian sighed and blew out some smoke, "We've talked about this ___." It was getting frustrating, "I know I know, but I am just worried about you! It's bad for your health and can really shorten your lifespan!" You carefully and quickly took the cigarette from his lips. Sebastians face hardened, "Rain, give that back" "No, not until you say you'll quit" You took a step back. "___" he said with a warning tone in his voice. You stood firm. "Why can't you just let me do as I please!?" You maintained eye contact with him, "It's not good for you Sebastian!" You threw the cigarette on the ground and stomped it out. That was the straw that broke the camels back, Sebastian was furious now. "You can't try to control my life too ___! Like mom and Demetrius try to do! If you want someone to control in a relationship, then that person isn't me!" "Wh-what?" You were in disbelief, "A-are...we breaking up...?" You felt the tears forming. Sebastian didn't reply, he simply turned back to the lake and lit another cigarette. You didn't know what to say, all you could mutter was a quiet "I'm sorry..." Before you ran back home.

📖Elliot📖
You two don't really have big fights. Elliot always makes sure your lines of communications are open ever since that night at the saloon with Leah. Nothing goes unsaid anymore. At most you two have small arguments about things that you forget about after about a week.

🐔Shane🐔
You were adopting some rabbits from Marnie and everything was going well, but she was fidgeting around a lot, like she wanted to say something. "Marnie? Are you alright?" "Yes...no...well....I need to talk to you about something?" You quirked an eyebrow. "It's about Shane...I know he said he quit alcohol, but I still see him go into the saloon every night." You felt your blood boil. "What?" "I'm not sure...could you check on him?" You set down your payment for the rabbits, "Gladly, where is he?"

You practically threw open the doors to Shane's room. He looked at you, eyes wide with surprise, "___!? What are you doing!?" "Are you drinking beer again!?" You were glad Jas was out with Vincent and Penny today. His eyes narrowed and he stood from where he was sitting in front of his video game, "How could you ask that? You know I'm trying to quit!" "That doesn't answer my question" you glared at him. Shane stayed silent, and it was louder than any response he couldve given. "Shane!" "You know what ___, it doesn't concern you! It's my money and my life!" "And what about that night on the cliff!? You think that doesn't still concern me!?" "I don't care what you think!" That was it, instead of yelling more, you turned your back. "Fine." You walked out. You said goodbye to Marnie who promised to send the rabbits to you soon. Shane just stayed standing in his room where you left him, baffled by what just happened.
