A/N: Welp...I wasn't planning on making a part two, but people seemed interested in it soo...here ya go!
🍕Sam🍕
About a week after the concert, you finally called Sam. You were nervous the entire time the phone was ringing, until you finally heard his voice, "Hello?" "Um hey, this is ____ from the concert. You gave me your number?" From the other line, you thought you heard something fall, and then Sam's frantic voice, "You actually called!? Yes! What's up!?" You smiled at his excitement, "Mostly trying to figure out why the cute lead guitarist from a band wanted to give me his number?" He laughed, "Well I thought you were cute too, and maybe we could hang out sometime?" "I would love that. My schedule can get pretty busy.." "No problem! I don't have much going on other than band practice and a part-time job. When are you free next? I can head over to the city again, and we can hang out?" You smiled."Let's see..."Your first date with Sam was too a little street fair in Zuzu. You bought little trinkets that various sellers had, and Sam had bought you a fresh bouquet of flowers. At some point, you had gathered the nerve to grab his hand, pretending it was so you wouldn't lose him in the crowd, but Sam just mailed wide and laced your fingers together.
On your second date in the city, you went to a karaoke bar. You weren't the best singer in the world, but neither of you cared. You were having too much fun. And it was after he serenaded you with "Can't Help Falling in Love" Did he pull you into a deep and loving kiss.
You two were officially together, and Sam would come down once, sometimes twice, a week to spend time with you. Of course, you felt bad that you never went to him, but with your hectic schedule with Joja, it was just easier, but one night was especially bad. You had come home from a double shift and immediately pulled your phone out to call Sam. "Hey sweet cheeks! Done with work?" You groaned into the phone and crashed onto your couch. "Bad day?" "Long..my boss was on me again about a deadline that's not even for another month and has been piling more on me...I just don't know how much longer I can do this, Sammy..." Tears started fall, "I just... I hate this..but what else can I do..." Sam stayed quiet as he listened to you sob. "Hey honey? Can you send me your address again?" "What?" "I'm gonna send food over for you, ok? My treat.." You sniffled, "Thanks Sammy..." You gave him your address, then said your goodbyes. You wanted nothing more than to take a hot shower and change into comfortable clothes to wait for food.
You were feeling much better afterward and was in the middle of searching for the remote in a drawer when a letter caught your eye. You recognized it immediately. It was from your late grandpa, a letter he sent you not long before he passed. You meant to open it earlier, but you must've gotten distracted by something, then forgot about it. You were about to open it again when there was a knock at your door. You carefully placed it on your coffee table and went to answer the door. "Hey sweet cheeks!" You were surprised to see Sam standing there with two boxes of pizza. "Sammy? How -" "Seb likes to come into the city at night, so he gave me a ride. I'll take the bus back in the morning, but right now you need me." Your heart practically melted as you let Sam in and kissed him. He put the food down and noticed the letter. "You're not getting secret admirer notes from others, are you?" He teased, and you rolled your eyes. "It's a letter my grandpa left for me before he died.." Sam's face fell, "aw jeez ___ I'm sorry. I didn't mean -" "It's ok Sammy..I know you didn't mean to. Besides, I had forgotten about this letter until tonight.." "Why don't you open it? Maybe he left some encouraging words for you?" You sat down and opened the envelope while Sam opened the first box of pizza. You read the letter and your eyes widened. "Hey Sammy?" "Yea?" He asked with a mouthful of pizza. "The town you're from is..Pelican Town right?" "Uh yea." "Is there an old farm there?" Sam thought for a moment, "Oh yea, the old Starlight Farm. That lots been abandoned a long time. Why?"
🏈Alex🏈
You weren't sure if you should call Alex or not. He was really attractive, but he also kind of seemed like the type to play around, and that wasn't really someone you wanted to get involved with. But you didn't wanna just leave him hanging? He gave you his number, hoping you would call or text, but you just... didn't. And it's been over a week. You should at least give him some sort of response, right? At least if it's a text, you don't have to see him or hear his voice. After arguing with yourself for what felt like an eternity, you decided just to text him.
