Sam was freaking out. He had no idea where you were. It was pretty normal when he went to bed without you and woke up gone, but that was usually because he could feel your side of the bed dip when you got home late, or he'd find you outside doing your farm chores. This was different. He didn't feel you come home, and you were nowhere to be found on the farm. Vivi's water and food bowls were also empty, and he knows you take care of that every morning. He ran around Pelican Town, looking everywhere for you. He called everyone in town town to see if they had seen you. Marlon said he could check the mines to make sure you weren't there, and Willy didn't answer.

After a few hours of searching, Sam was urged to head home and get something to eat, while Shane, Seb, and Abigail kept searching. He was hoping you would be home, but unfortunately you were not. All that was waiting for him was a whimpering Vivi and a voice-mail from Marlon saying you weren't found in the mines, that was at least a little relief. Until he remembered the Calico Desert, and how the caves there were even more dangerous than the local mines.

Sam was about to go get Pam and force her to drive him there, when his phone went off and he answered it immediately. "Hello!?" "Sam? Were they home?" It was Abigail's voice. "No..I'm going to get Pam and check out the Calico Desert.." "That's smart, but before you do. Elliot saw Willy on his old fishing boat coming back in, let's check with him first to see if he's seen ___, or maybe they're with him." Sam's heart was beating erratically. "I'll be there soon!" He grabbed his skateboard and hurried toward the beach.

By the time he got there, Willys boat had pulled into his shop and he could see the tail end of it sticking out. He ran as fast as he could toward the shop and right past his friends. He practically tore the door open and stopped short. There you were. You stared at him with a shocked face and sunburnt skin, but otherwise unharmed. "Sammy? What are you doing here?" He didn't say anything, just walked towards you until you were just a breath away, and pulled you tightly until hid arms. You couldn't breathe very well. "S-Sammy...breathe..." He only released his hold on you a little, enough for you to breathe easy again. When you got a good look at his face, you were shocked to see tears. "Sammy what's wrong?" "Do you know how worried I was!? How worried the town was!? ___ we've been looking for you everywhere!! I thought something happened to you!!" You were taken aback and slowly pulled back from Sam and reached into your pocket, pulling out your very soaked phone. "I tried calling to let you know where I was and what was happening...but I dropped my phone in the water...then these birds got my attention, a coconut almost dropped on my head...b-but I'm ok!" You looked at the ground, "I'm sorry for worrying you Sammy...I promise I'll let you know where I'm going ahead of time next time..." Sam stared at you for a moment before nodding, "Ok..thank you..let's go home. Sounds like we both had a long day." You gave him a small smile and nodded, taking his hand and heading back to the farm. "Where were you sweet cheeks?" You smiled, "This place called Ginger Island, I'll show you sometime."

Alex paced back and forth. This wasn't like you at all. He looked over at the clock again, and it read 1:45am. "Babe where are you..." He mumbled to himself. Louie watched him from his place on the couch, feeding off of Alex's anxious energy. "Mrow?" "I know Louie...they've just never come in this late before..." You were always so good about coming home usually before midnight, 1am at the latest.

Alex took a step outside and turned his view between the main entrance to the farm and the back entrance, hoping to get a glimpse of you. You wouldn't leave him...right? He was getting antsy and checked the time again, 1:50am. Only 5 minutes have passed!? This was agonizing! He considered calling Leah or Haley, but he knew they would both be asleep by now. Just as he was ready to have a full on panic attack, he heard a strange sound and went to investigate.
