Neither you or ya boy heard the witches laughter in the night. And neither of you were prepared for what happened

"Come here little guy! Vivi and I won't hurt you!" You offered up some fish to the river otter that wound up on your farm. Something seemed to be bothering it because it kept squeaking and jumping up and down, even after you put Vivi inside. River otters were absolutely your favorite animal, so to see one so close! You probably shouldn't pet it, but oh well! You've come face to face with a bear before, and all he wanted was some maple syrup! "Please buddy, it's ok..man, where's Sam... maybe he could help..." You had searched for the blonde all morning, but he must've left before you woke up, which was strange for him. "I'll try calling him after I deal with this little guy.." Ever so slowly, the otter got closer, so you laid down on your stomach to try and be less threatening. As soon as you did, it ran closer and right past your hand with the fish. Instead, it decided to rub its head against your cheeks. You thought your heart might explode from the cuteness. "Awww!! Aren't you the sweetest!" You let it did as it pleased. "You're just like Sammy, but I think you're much cuter!" The otter stopped for a moment and stared at you before resting itself in your arms, giving you a chance to sit up and cradle it. "___?" A voice came from nearby your animal area. "Hm? Oh hey Rasmodius!" You stood and greeted the wizard with the animal still in your arms. "You rarely leave the tower. Did you need something?" The wizard looked at you, then the otter in your arms who seemed to be cowering away from him. "I sensed magic being used here that was, unfortunately, all too familiar to me." "What kind of magic?" "I'm afraid my..ex wife, who's a witch, may have cast a curse here. And I think I know what it is now.." You scrunched your face in concern, "Is it my crops? My animals?" Rasmodius shook his head and pointed at the otter in your arms. "This little guy? It hasn't done anything except be playful?" "I'm afraid that 'otter' is not what it seems." He reached into his cloak and brought out a small vial with purple liquid. "Whats that?" "Something that will reverse the spell cast on your partner." You were confused. "Partner? But Sam is..." Then it dawned on you. "A WITCH TURNED MY FIANCE INTO AN ANIMAL!?" "Yes, but do not worry, this should change him back to normal by tonight." Rasmodius uncorked the vial and poured the contents over Sam the otters head, careful not to have any of it spill on you. You thanked Rasmodius before holding the otter again, so you were face to... much smaller face. "Is that why you were rubbing against my cheeks? To try and tell me it was you?" Sam let out a chirp that you assumed was a yes. "Why didn't you like..use a stick to write your name?" You stared at each other before Sam managed a look of defeat and just sort of, deflated in your arms. "Aw, it's ok Sammy! It'll wear off tonight! Besides, this is great! When else am I going to be able to hold an otter like this! Let's go cuddle!"

"____? Babe? You home?" Alex was knocking on your door. He's been trying to call you all morning, but hadn't heard from you at all and he was starting to worry. He looked all over your farm and saw no sign of you, not to mention Louie wasn't out and about yet so you must not have even left the house yet. Just as Alex was about to give up and go check out around the farm one more time, there was a frantic scratching at the front door. "Louie?" There was a lot of meowing followed by a loud bark. Alex jumped back, was there a dog in there? But you didn't have a dig? "___ open up!" He tried the handle again, but it was locked. He kept jiggling it and the barking got louder and Alex began to panic more. "___!" Finally, the know on the otherside of the door turned and he was finally able to open it. As soon as the door was cracked, Louie ran straight out toward the fields. Alex took a tentative step inside the house and looked around. The place was a mess! Some of the couch cushions got torn up and and all kinds of things were knocked over. Alex tensed up and prepared himself to fight any intruders if necessary. First mission was to find you, then he could get you both out of here. The main house seemed clear so he headed toward your bedroom next. There was a large shaking lump on the bed and Alex approached it carefully. "Babe? Come on we gotta go.." He lifted the covers before jumping back in surprise. Instead of you, he found fluffy German Shephard staring up at him with wide fearful eyes. "The hell? When did ___ get a dog?" He asked himself, but his eyes were still sparkling. He loved dogs, and with Dusty having to stay in his fenced dog house, he really missed having one around. He reached out his fist to let the dog smell, but it just reached and out its head under his hand. "What a good dog..do you know where ___ is?" The dog stood up and walked closer to Alex and let out a small "broof". "Is that why Louie ran out? Did you scare him?" The dog whimpered. "It's ok, let's go see if we can find ___ ok?" He softly pet the dog before leaving the bedroom, the dog close to him.
