Chapter 32

Nixera's POV

"The actresses and actors are here," anunsyo ni Margo. "Nakabihis na sila. Mag-aayos na lang ng make-up. Be ready na sa mga photographers natin."

Late ng dumating ang actors and actresses. The schedule of the photoshoot in this park is ten in the morning. They arrived at 11:47am. Kanina pa kami naghihintay dito, but we need to endure it. They are the focus of this photoshoot. We don't have any choice.

Giniya ako ni Margo papunta sa isang spot sa park kung saan ako kukuha ng pictures.

"Nixera, this is Maggie. Maggie, this is Nixera. Both of you are going to work together for the whole day." Margo gave me a pat on the back. "Nixera knows what to do. Tawagin n'yo na lang ako kung may problema."

Hindi lang si Maggie ang kasama ko. May isa s'yang assistant saka make-up artist na katabi. "Let's work hard, okay?"

"It's nice to see you looking like a professional, Nixera." Maggie has a big smile.  "You look cool."

"I hope you're ready to act like a professional today as well, Miss Darson." I motioned my hand in front of the daffodils. "Please move here and give me an expression suiting for your character."

I don't have any plans on acting very nice towards her. I don't like her. She must know that, so she can stop bothering the shit out of me.

Pumwesto na s'ya sa tapat ng daffodils. I instructed her where to put her hands and where to look.

I took a lot of shots to get the perfect one. Siguro nangangawit na s'ya dahil sa tagal bago ko nakuha ang gusto kong shot.

Okay lang 'yan na mahirapan s'ya. Late naman silang dumating ng mga kasama n'ya. They deserve to be tired.

Pinabago ko ang puwesto n'ya. Pinalapit o ang mukha n'ya sa daffodils na parang inaamoy n'ya ang mga 'yon. It's a very close-up shot to show her face, especially her eyes.

I took five versions of whole body pictures, three close-up shots, and three random poses. I chose the best pictures out of more than fifty pictures. Pinakita ko rin sa kanila ang mga napili kong pictures. Nagustuhan naman sila.

I like how beautiful the pictures are, but I hate when Maggie looks at me with another emotion in her eyes. She's not looking at the camera. She's looking at me.

"We're done here." Pinatay ko na muna ang camera ko dahil mamaya pa ang susunod na naka-assign sa 'kin. "Thank you so much for your cooperation."

I heard the bitterness and sarcasm in my own voice when I thanked Maggie. I like it.

"Thank you, Nixera." Tumaas ang dalawang kilay ko nang hawakan n'ya ang kamay ko. "Ang ganda ng pictures."

"It's my job." Binawi ko ang kamay ko. "You should change your clothes. May tatlo ka pang damit na kailangang kuhanan ng pictures."

Dani's POV

"W-Why are you looking at me like that?" Tinakpan ko ng kumot ang katawan ko. "Liam—"

"Are you dating Aez?" Kumunot ang noo ko sa tanong ni Liam. "Is there something going on between you two?"

Last night, I drank a lot of beer. I drank alone and found myself going to Liam's office.

And shit, I had sex with him. We had sex in the separate bedroom in his office.

Hindi ko naman alam na gano'n pala ang p'wedeng mangyari?! Ang balak ko lang naman uminom ng marami kagabi para makapag-isip-isip tapos napunta na ko rito.

Gusto ko na s'yang kausapin, pero hindi naman sa ganitong paraan. 'Yong maayos na pag-uusap. We literally had sex without talking to each other properly.

"Aez and I are just friends." Yumuko ako. "Ano ba sa tingin mo?"

Nagulat ako nang hatakin n'ya ko palapit sa kaniya. Masakit pa ang ulo ko dahil sa dami ng nainom ko, pero mas nararamdaman ko ang mabilis na pagtibok ng puso ko.

"I thought you're dating him." Yinakap ako ni Liam. "Sorry for jumping into conclusions without talking to you. Sorry for not putting your feelings first."

"Sorry for being quite immature too." Yinakap ko s'ya pabalik. "Sino pala 'yong babaeng humalik sa'yo?"

"She's nothing to me. Pinipilit ako ng family ko na makipag-date sa kaniya, but she's lesbian so everything will not work out." He kissed my forehead. "Do you still like me?"

Sinubsob ko ang mukha ko sa dibdib n'ya. "I like you. I like you so much."

Ang tanda-tanda ko na tapos nahihiya pa rin akong magsabi ng ganito. I like him for so long now. Nakakahiya, pero masaya sa pakiramdam na nasasabi ko na sa kaniya ng harapan.

"Can you wait for me to clear my feelings and sort them out? I don't want to say things that I'm still not sure of." Mas humigpit ang yakap n'ya sa 'kin. "Naguguluhan pa ko, pero sana huwag na tayong lumayo sa isa't-isa this time."

"I can wait, but don't take so much time." I chuckled. "I might date someone else."

Hinawakan n'ya ang magkabila kong pisngi at inangat ang mukha ko. He's already pouting. "Why are you teasing me like this?"

Bumaba ang mga kamay n'ya sa baywang ko at pumulupot doon. "Gusto mo bang mag-almusal muna? We can eat at the nearest coffee shop."

"I just want to hug you right now." Hinalikan n'ya ang pisngi ko. "Na-miss kita ng sobra. Parang ilang taon tayong hindi nagkita."

"Pumangit ka nga, eh," natatawa kong sabi. "Mukha kang haggard."

"Ang lakas ko pa rin naman kagabi, ah?" Pinatong n'ya ang ulo n'ya sa balikat ko. "Nakatatlong rounds pa nga tayo, eh. I can still go for another rounds right now. Wanna try?"

Hinampas ko ang braso n'ya. "Bigyan mo muna ako ng label."

He chuckled. "Unknown for now, but we're not fuck buddies anymore. We will not go back to what we were before. We will start again. Better this time."

"Characters development ba 'yan?" I giggled before kissing his forehead. "Nagugutom na ko. Kain na tayo. Hindi ako nakapag-dinner kagabi. Uminom lang ako nang uminom."

"Kapag lasing ka pala mas marami kang energy. Baka maghanda na ko ng tequila n'yan sa susunod." He gave me a peck on the lips. "What do you want for breakfast? Pancakes?"

"Anything is fine as long as I'm with you." Hinawakan ko ang kamay n'ya at pinisil 'yon. "I like you, Liam."

"Shit naman. Kung lagi mong sasabihin 'yan, I might marry you in a heartbeat." Hinalikan n'ya ang likod ng palad ko. "Konting hintay pa, Dani. Hintayin mo ko."
