Chapter 40

Jady's POV

"Ang sakit na ng katawan ko," reklamo ko matapos kong lumabas ng banyo. "You went hard on me again, Nixera."

"Because you kept calling me Xera." Nakita ko si Nixera na inaayos na ang mga camera na ginamit namin. "It makes me feel horny."

"Mag-ayos na tayo. Kailangan ko pang i-edit 'yong video."

Nixera helped me in recording a video for my channel in Parmesan. Gagawan ko ng tatlong parts ang video na 'yon para hindi ako magkulang sa uploads kapag pumunta na kami sa France para kasal nila Ashanti at Riana.

"You're still gonna edit that? Akala ko ia-upload mo na ng buo. Your viewers might miss something."

"W-Wala naman akong ibabawas na scene. It's too tedious to watch the video all over again." Sa totoo lang din, ang hirap din kasing panoorin ulit 'yong mga ginawa namin. It's making me feel hot all over. "I'll just separate it into three parts and will edit the audio to make it louder and clearer."

"You should sleep first before doing that. Bukas na ng gabi ang flight natin. Your brother will be suspicious if you will look too tired in the morning."

Nagsuot lang ako ng bagong underwear at malaking shirt. Ang lalaki ng ibang damit ni Nixera. She's taller than me, so wearing her clothes can cover my body from shoulders to below my knees.

Hinatak ako ni Nixera pahiga sa kama. Kusa na kong yumakap sa kaniya. Ganito naman kasi kami palagi. Nasanay na lang ako.

"You smell so good, Jady." Nixera sniffed my hair. "Sleep well."

"Matulog ka na rin."

Sleeping with Nixera, literally, made me realize some things. Madalas s'yang natutulala bago tuluyang makatulog. Maybe she's thinking about many things. Madalas din s'yang nagigising sa kalagitnaan ng gabi. Uupo s'ya sa gilid ng kama tapos tahimik lang s'ya. Mahihiga ulit s'ya tapos yayakap na sa 'kin hanggang sa makatulog s'ya.

Hindi naman ako gano'n kalalim matulog, lalo na kapag hindi sa kama ko. Konting galaw n'ya lang sa gabi ay nagigising na agad ako.

"Good night, Jady." Nixera kissed my cheek. "I'll cook breakfast for us tomorrow."

"Good night na rin."

Nixera's POV

"Good morning po, Ate Nixera," Glenn greeted me as he descended the staircase. "Gising na po ba si Kuya Jady?"

"He went out to go for a jog." I flipped the pancake. I can't let these burn. "Go and get your coffee. Are your luggages ready for the flight later?"

"Ready na po. Naayos ko na kagabi." Nang mailagay ko na ang mga lutong pancakes sa plato, humarap ako sa kaniya. "How's your sleep, Ate?"

"Ayos naman in your older brother's arms," I said, cheekily. "Eat a lot. We're going to help Jady in cleaning the house before travelling to the airport."

"Ate Nixera, can I ask another personal thing?"

I started making my coffee while listening to him. "Go on."

"Hindi po ba talaga kayo magkarelasyon ni Kuya Jady?"

A smirk crept into my lips. "Do we really look like a couple?"

"I mean, it's a bit weird for a guy and a girl to sleep in one room, even if my brother is not straight." He casually sipped on his coffee. "You two are acting like a couple as well. Lalo na no'ng kayong dalawa ang nagluluto rito sa kusina no'ng nakaraan."

"We're not in that kind of relationship." My eyes automatically gazed to the door when it opened. Jady entered. "For now, I guess."

Iniwan ko si Glenn sa kusina para lapitan si Jady.

"Nag-almusal ka na, Nixera?"

I saw him blushed when I kissed his cheek. "Let's eat together with your brother."

We're now ready to go to the airport. The private plane is also ready. I'm just a bit sleepy. I don't know, but I'm sleepy.

Sumandal ako sa kotse ko habang hinihintay si Jady at Glenn. My phone rang and I saw Alvin's name on the screen.

"Are you up for a good news?" He beamed after I answered the call. "I have lots."

I smirked. "Of course I am."

"I finally found her exact location. Gusto mo na ba s'yang makita agad?" My breathing suddenly hitched. "I accimulated all the information that I can get about her. Naging mas madali na since nasa Pilipinas na ko ngayon. I can come with you kung gusto mo na s'yang makita."

"After the wedding that I need to attend to." I raked my fingers through my hair. "Magkikita na rin kami, sa wakas."

"It took us a long time to find her."

"Thank you for all your efforts, Alvin." Napangiti ako nang kusa habang sinasariwa ang mga alaala ko kasama ang babaeng ang tagal kong hindi nakita. Years passed and now, everything is going as planned. "I will be forever grateful for this."

"It's my job, Nixera. You're paying me for this." I heard some rummaging on the other line. "About your father, I think he finally broke the walls. I think he is not against you finding her anymore."

"We shall see. Kahit naman patuloy n'yang itago ang kinaroroonan ng babaeng 'yon, mahahanap pa rin natin s'ya." Nakita kong palabas na ng bahay sina Jady at Glenn."If he's giving me this chance, I'm going to take it using both hands."

Pinatay ko na ang tawag para tulungan sila Jady at Glenn na ilagay sa kotse ang mga gamit nila.

The fact that my father isn't trying to interfere anymore is shocking, but that's not the exciting part.

I'm going to see her, very soon.

Dani's POV

"Sure po ba kayo, Tito?" Paniniguro ko kay Mr. Crox Wei, Nixera's Father. "I will do that. I will definitely not stop Nixera anymore."

Ilang buwan ko na rin namang hindi pinipigilan si Nixera. Binabantayan ko s'ya, pero wala naman akong ginagawa para mapigilan s'ya sa paghahanap.

"My wife encouraged me to stop this childish game." I can hear the frustration in Tito's voice. "Your Tita Ayen literally gave me divorce papers. She threatened me that she will force me to sign those divorce papers if I will continue on interfering with my daughter's whereabouts."

Nagulat ako sa sinabi ni Tito.

I know that Tita Annie, Nixera's mother, is a fierce woman, but I didn't expect her to go that far.

She really loves Nixera that much.

"Nixera deserves to see her, Tito," madiin kong sabi. "Deserve n'yang malaman kung ano ang totoong mga dahilan sa mga nangyari noon at kung anong mga nangyari sa mga lumipas na taon."

Tito Crox sighed. "Sorry for involving you into this."

I smiled. "Nixera is my friend. I know that she's going to be happy about your decision."
