(Trigger Warning: Death / Blood)
Song recommendation while reading this chapter: The Comedown by Henry Jackman
(I'm weirdly obsessed with this 'song' and Idk it's just pure vibes)Nothing. A pitch black surface before him, unable to see anything. Nothing in the definition that there was: Nothing. There was no noise. No noise at all.
Silence.
For the first time it was silent. Quiet. A roam of emptiness filling the void where there was no void before. Where there was only a penetrant sound, repeating itself like a nightmare. A memory that has remained since...
Since what? His mind wasn't thinking. There was only the pitch black surface before him, showing him that there was nothing, not even the noise he hated so much.
He tried to remember: Car. Bed. Fire. Kiss. Beomgyu.
Where was Beomgyu?
Now there was something. A sensation. A feeling. Light?
The pitch black surface was moving and with the moving it was roaring. A painful droning pressured itself into his head and the pitch black surface showed glimpses of white dots in an arbitrary arrangement. The pressure pushed himself down to the ground, making himself a part of it. But then, the more white dots he saw, the more the pressure changed into a stinging. It was more painful, more harrowing than the roaring.
And then there was light. More light than just the white dots. He couldn't see what it was but the light didn't just show white. There was also red and orange, blue and gray. He needed to open his eyes. If there was nothing to see then you had to open your eyes. That is what he thought over and over. If he couldn't see Beomgyu then maybe his eyes were just closed.
He opened his eyes further. Less black, more of everything. It was blurry but there was another sense that got back. He smelled something rough. The smell scratched at his throat and in the same second he noticed the smell, he coughed out the last piece of nothing he had in his body.
Now there was everything.
There was the wind that blew calmly around him, waving around the gray clouds above him as he coughed out the pain in his chest. He wished he could have coughed away the pain in his head.
The blurry vision vanished from his sight and revealed a clear view of the night sky. Only now he realized what those white dots were.
He saw the moon, shaped into a circle form. It was bright and glowy, the origin of the light he saw when there was nearly nothing.
He felt the pain in his legs and in his chest but mostly he was racked from the pain in his head. It was ripping apart his consciousness but he forced himself to stay awake. He sensed his hands and fingers, moving them to know that his body still worked. He had to get up or else he would lay on the ground forever, getting swallowed by the earth as a whole. His soul interwoven with the living nature.
He propped himself up and got hit by an immense ache, throbbing through his head and almost out his mouth. The tension around his chest grew and a groan left his mouth as he lifted his left hand up to his head and pushed against it, shoving back the heavy feeling.
He removed his hand from his head and looked down to his palm. Red. A wet red fluid dripped down from his hand on his pants as he observed the color of his own blood. It was warm and tacky.
The blood got wiped away on his pants when Yeonjun looked around himself with distraught showing on his face. Right next to him was his car, tipped over on its side as he could only see the underneath of it. Behind it, a few meters away, stood another car whereby the front bonnet was completely dented.

Fanfiction"Why did you ask me to come with you?" Beomgyu asked him again with a low voice. It was still questionable for him, they weren't friends. Yeonjun had to hold back his smile. "Because you don't ask these kinds of questions." It was partially true. "B...
