Keaton's POV
As I waked in the house I quickly dried my tears and opened the glass doors. "Keaton!" I heard someone yell from behind me and I turned around. It was Jacob. "Drew just called from a blocked number. He said he wanted to speak with you, Wesley and the Alpha." I nod at him and he goes back to his training.
I head up to Alpha's office and walk in seeing Wesley already there. The Alpha came out of a side room and looked over at me and Wes. "Boys please. Take a seat. We have good and bad news." I look at him worried "Give me...Us the good news first." He brings his hands to his desk and folds them. "Skylar is safe..."
I let out a sigh of relief then he continued. "But..." Dammit I thought to myself. "She's staying with a friend. Turns out that friend is part of one of our rival packs..." I lean back in my seat then sit up quickly saying "I have to go to her. She could get hurt."
The Alpha shook his head "No you can't. It's bad enough we have Drew there we don't need more coming in. And besides we need you here with us...I have some more good news." I nod and let him finish.
"We have a lead on Tyler...He's heading down to Arizona like we wanted him to but it won't be long till he realizes it's a trap...We need to go there now. Go grab some warriors and pack you're things. Anything we need to kill Tyler."
"How about my bare hands." I mumble not intending for anyone to hear it but I guess Wes did. He looked over at me and shook his head. I rolled my eyes and said "Fine. I'll go grab some warriors." I got up from my chair and went back outside to where the Warriors were training.
I walked around and looked at some of them. Searching for the strongest and the fastest. I pulled Jay aside and said "Don't ask questions just come with me." He nodded as I walked around and picked 4 more warriors. Kyle, Peyton, Joey, and Austin.
They were well trained and well built so of corse they are going to be at the top of my list. They are also my cousins so I'm bound to pick them. I trust them with this type of thing. Austin is a crazy out-going guy and that's why I need him there. If something happens to one of us he's the one to cheer us up.
Kyle and Peyton are both a bit crazy but they get the job done when they need to. And Joey is very mature for his age and knows how to lead a team. Although he's not going to lead he's good in case me or anyone else in charge gets hurt or worse. Which I hope doesn't happen. I couldn't forgive myself if any of my family got hurt because of this.
I shook my head trying to get rid of these thoughts then went to my room to pack my bag. I packed everything possible needed to defeat Tyler. Some pocket knifes and other things in case someone is in trouble they can go in my bag and grab something to defend themselves.
I look down at my promise ring and smile. "For you." I whisper to myself and zip my bag. I walk out of my room and down to the garage in the basement. The rest of the boys were already down there. Grabbing supplies and anything else we need. We got in the cars and speed out, down the dirt road. Heading to Arizona.
