Chapter 9: Help!!!

John's POV

I woke up, still hugging Rica. I tapped her gently on her shoulder and her eyes fluttered open.

"Good morning, Sunshine." I told her.

"Good morning, Doggy!"         

I glanced to my right hand and looked back to Rica with sad eyes.

"I guess you should let me go now... I'm not your puppy anymore."

"Oh, right."

She took the key from her pocket and unlocked the hand cuff. I got up from the bed feeling a wave of relieve to my hand. It feels so good being set free.

"It was nice hanging out with you."

Rica didn't say anything and I left, leaving the door ajar. I can feel that she peeked out to see me leave. I quickly ran to my older brother's house while crying. I can't believe what just happened. I don't even know why I am crying. Maybe it's because of guilt of leaving her or maybe because I was shocked what I just went through. I reached Pat's house and knocked on the door. He quickly opened it and I hugged him while whimpering... yes, I do sound like a dog.

"What's wrong, John?"

"I got love problems."

"Come in."

He escorted me to the sofa and we talked it through.

"Pat, don't get angry with me but... I'm in love with my stu-student."

"What?! How'd it happen?"

"I bumped into her when the enrollment started. I fell in love with her right from the start. I didn't know she's my student. It all happened so fast. She's even younger than me. And- and I met a new teacher and I love her also. She's just right for me. I don't know what to do! My student, Rica, even forced me yesterday to come with her. I-I-I don't know!!!"

I cried again and Pat hugged me.

"Oh, John. Being an adult can be so hard. Especially when facing love problems."

"Got any advice?"

"Just... wait for the right time to decide. Or maybe... ignore your student for a while."

"Ignore?!"

"Yes, ignore."

"But I can't do that! She'll hate me again!"

"Just do what I say!"

"Okay."

Jen's POV

Ow! My head hurts. What happened? How did I end up in my bedroom if John and I were dating? Oh, well. Maybe he carried me here. I stood up to find Marie. I need to ask her for my love problems. I heard that John is in love with his student.

"Marie?"

"Yes, Jen?" she went out of the kitchen holding chocolates- my favorite!

"Can you help me about my problems?"

"Your problems? About what?"

"Love problems."

She laughed and we sat down on the dining chairs. I bit some of the chocolates and continued our topic.

"So, what's going on about your love life?"

"I'm in love with my co-teacher but this teacher is in love with his student. What shall I do, Marie?"

"What's the student's name?"

"Rica Kennedy."

"Do you have her address?"

"Yes. What are you planning?"

Marie cracked a smile and called my other older brothers.

"We'll kidnap her!"

"Are you serious?!"

"Don't worry about it. Everything will be just fine."

(A/N: Boring but the last three lines though. ;))
