Rica's POV
It's been a couple of hours since John have left. I feel incomplete without him. I need to say sorry to him for being too weird. I drove to his house and knocked.
No answer.
"John, are you there? Helloooooo?"
Then someone tapped at my shoulder. I jumped in fright. I turned around to see John.
"Relax. It's me."
I stepped aside and he opened the door. I walked inside and he closed the door without saying another word.
"What are you doing in here?" he raised an eyebrow.
"I came to say sorry-"
"Again?"
I fell speechless. He stretched out his hands to me.
"What's that for?"
"I thought you were going to handcuff us together again."
"No I'm not. I'm really sorry for being a jerk to you. I truly am."
"You sound sincere enough."
I stepped forward and embraced John. "Thank you!"
John broke the hug and we went to the living room. We watched the T.V for hours until I fell asleep...
John's POV
Rica's eyelids shut tightly and her body slightly fell off the sofa. I rushed into action and picked her up. I carefully laid her on my lap, not wanting to interrupt her slumber. I lowered the television's volume. I gently brushed my fingers on her cheeks. Her cheeks were so soft. I also ruffled her hair slowly. After several hours, she awoke.
"John?"
"Yes?"
"Aren't you uncomfortable with me resting on your lap?"
"A bit, considering you're still my student. Rica, would you stay with me?"
"What do you mean?"
"We can live together."
"What about the people out there? What if they don't accept us?"
I lift Rica up and I clutched her hands. I placed them on my chest. I know that she likes feeling my heartbeat.
"Please?" I begged her with puppy eyes.
"Oh okay!"
She stood up and told me that she'll get her stuff from her apartment. I jumped up and down in excitement while she left. Then, I heard the doorbell rang. I opened it, hoping to see Rica.
"Welcome back, Ri-"
"Hi, John!"
"Oh. Hello, Jen."
"Sounds like you don't wanna see me."
"It's not like that."
Jen stepped inside and she pushed me down the sofa.
"Jen, what are you planning to do?" I can't move. She's too charismatic.
She slowly pulled my head near her. I heard the main door shut. Rica must be back! She can't see me like this! I tried to resist but I can't. She left me dumb without reason. Jen caress my cheek and...
