monsters of men all wars make,
unless the monsters were already awake.

soldiers know not to kill more men.
only veterans can know that war is hell,
if they survive the enemy's shells.
only veterans are fit to fight wars.
if someone has fought they won't fight again.
lay down your arms, men, and go to your homes.
to die for a cause is to die for a sin.
