calmer nights
slower days
the suburbs.
escape from
the city
past the streets and stoplights
if i'd go back
i'd find it a pity
soft music
flowing on air
like water.
a backyard
so simple
birds and squirrels
in the morning
stars at night, bright twinkles
the suburbs
the scattered cities
half of all.
