"We're here!" A man announces, waking me up from my nap.

I groaned as I gathered my bags and stepped out of the train, looking around.

God this feels weird to be back. I thought to myself. It had been a little over a year since I last visited district 4.

I stopped mentoring since the end of the 71st hunger games which meant I wasn't forced to come back to District 4.

The was also the year I met my new friend, Johanna Mason.

Although I didn't like anyone in the distant districts, Johanna impressed me during her games and I just couldn't resist but to befriend her.

It was a weird change, my only friends were from District 1 and 2 and a few from District 4, so it took a while to warm up to Johanna but when she refused to be sold off and Snow killed her entire family, she wanted to end her life, she was in desperate need of someone so I stepped up and was there for her, every step of the healing process.

I never told her the same thing had happened to me.

It was the one thing I never mentioned to anyone apart from my brother of course, Brutus and Enobaria, and Mags.

I stayed with Johanna for a year until she was ready to be independent then went back to district 2.

But after watching the 74th Hunger Games, I was beyond furious.

For 73 years there had only been one victor, and now the rules had changed for the star-crossed lovers from District 12 of all places?

Why couldn't they make that a rule in my games? In Finnick's games? And all the other victors who had to watch their district partner die.

I knew Snow was also furious as he made sure that Seneca Crane, the idiot gamemaker, died. Which made me feel better a bit.

But I knew he was still furious, therefore something bad was going to happen, so I decided to pay my family and lovely district a visit.

I walked around the district until I reached the Victor's village. Nothing really changed since I was last here, just new faces and new houses that's all.

Once I got to the victor's village, I passed Rosie. Rosie was, Halo's girlfriend- or was soon to be fiancé. Halo was my district partner, he had told me that he was planning on proposing to her after the reaping but obviously couldn't, so he made me promise that when I win and make it out of the arena, that I would take care of her.

And I did.

I gave her my mansion in the village, even though she insisted she didn't need it, but I always kept my promises.

Halo died so I could win, and this was the least I could do for him.

Plus I didn't need it anyways.

She was playing in the front garden with their daughter Hayley when i approached them.

We hugged and caught each other up with everything for a few minutes before I gave Hayley another hug and walked away from them.

Once I saw my brother's house, I saw a girl at the front, tending to some plants. I knew exactly who it was and quickened my pace to get closer to the girl.

"Annie!" I called out. I watched as she turned her head and immediately drop whatever was in her hand as soon as she recognised me.

"Oh my god Katia!" She yelled as she wrapped her arms around me. I smiled into the hug.

Annie Cresta was the winner of the 70th Hunger games, inside the arena she had to watch her district partner get decapitated, which gave her lots of PTSD and left her in very bad condition. So me, Finnick, and Mags all helped her to heal.
