THIRD PERSON VIEW

Katniss was too fast with her bow for anyone to stop her but unfortunately for her, Katia was faster.

She somehow knew Katniss would do this as she turned to the side quickly and grabbed the arrow before it could do any damage to her. She couldn't lie, it did hurt when she caught it with her hands, but she couldn't focus on that as she looked back at Katniss who had a widened expression on her face.

"You're gonna regret that Everdeen." She spat. "Gloss now!" She yelled when Katniss was about to aim another arrow.

A loud gasp came from their right as they stared at Gloss who had emerged from the water and stabbed Wiress from district 3 in the chest with a knife.

BOOM!

All the attention was now on them as Katniss adverted her bow to Gloss instead of Katia and released her arrow, plunging it straight into Gloss' chest, making him fall back in to the water with his canon sounding straight after.

BOOM!

Katia hadn't expected this as she widened at Gloss' lifeless body. She wasted no time letting out a cried 'no!' before she used the arrow that was previously thrown at her, to throw back to the person who had aimed it at her in the first place.

Katniss saw the arrow flying towards her and tried to move out the way but she was too slow as it grazed through her arm, giving her a slight cut with a small bit of blood coming out of it.

Meanwhile, Cashmere had emerged from the water too filled with pure rage at her dead brother.

She came running towards them but Johanna noticed her from the corner of her eye and immediately stood up from the ground, ignoring her still injured leg as she spun her axe around, shoving Katniss out of the way before chucking it at Cashmere. It hit her straight in the chest as her body collapsed down to the ground, Johanna's axe still attached to her.

BOOM!

Katia had now run around the cornucopia, out of plain sight.

Brutus had come out and threw a spear at them aimlessly and started to fight Finnick. He was deep down too scared to fully fight Finnick, in fear of what Katia would say to him if he harmed or killed her brother, but meanwhile Finnick didn't seem to care that he was close to killing his sister's bestfriend.

Luckily for Brutus, as Finnick was about to hit him with his trident, Enobaria ran and threw her knife at Finnick. It had hit his left arm, throwing off his attention from Brutus who quickly got up and ran with Enobaria around the cornucopia, while arrows from Katniss were being thrown.

Katia who was waiting for them, had her trident on the ready just in case. She looked confused as she saw her friends running away and towards her as Brutus yelled at her to run.

Much to their dismay, Katia doeesn't run from anyone.

She groaned and adjusted her trident before she ran the other way around the cornucopia while the two district 2 tributes ran down the rock wall.

When Enobaria noticed her lack of presence, she was quick to turn around and run after her, when the ground started moving. Enobaria fell to the ground, gripping the rock as much as she could while Brutus also did the same a few metres ahead.

Katia who had made it all around to where Finnick, Beetee and Peeta were, immediately fell to the ground caused by the cornucopia moving and spinning clockwise.

Not wanting to lose her trident once again, she used it to slash into the rock to hold herself and stop her from falling. Behind her was Peeta barely hanging on, while on her left was her brother hanging on to Beetee with his dear life.

Katia noticed immediately how Finnick's grip on his trident that was also slashed into the rock like hers, started to loosen due to the weight of holding Beetee and himself.

Katia's eyes widened as she watched him barely hanging on. "FIN!" She called out to him as loud as she could. He turned his head to look at her pleading eyes that was telling him to stay strong.

As much as Finnick wanted to, he knew he would only be able to hold them both up for a short amount of time.

Katia sighed and cursed to herself as she placed both hands on the rock. Slowly and carefully, she started to move along the rock towards Finnick.

She was now close enough to him that she was able to reach out her arm out to grab his for support.
But as Katia was close to reaching him, the shaking and spinning of the cornucopia caused the weapons and crates to fall down,

Towards them.

Unfortunately for Katia, she had been too focused on reaching her brother, that she hadn't noticed one of those crates coming down and towards her.

"KATIA LOOK OUT!" Finnick yelled, trying his best to warn her, but he had been too late.

As Katia looked up, the crate had hit her in the right arm that was holding on to her trident. She cried out in pain as she lost grip on the weapon and started to tumble down the rocks.

"NO! KATIA!" Finnick cried out as he watched his sister fall while he couldn't do anything to save her.

Although the fall was fast, in Katia's head everything seemed to be going in slo-mo as her thoughts seemed to go 100 miles per hour thinking this was it for her.

This was how she died.

That was until she was brought back to reality, when a hand gripped onto hers and she was no longer stumbling down and falling.
