Simple Yet complicated

BRIGHT'S POV

After dinner and a little leg pulling of win Era left claiming that she has something to do but I think she just bailed out cause Ice suggested we watch beauty and the beast and I ended up watching the movie with Win and Ice ,all it took was little puppy eyes . I have to admit this little one is really persuasive.

At first I was up for it seeing how excited Ice was about the movie she was a tornado dancing along on every song in the movie with Emma(the lead actress) the first time she definitely has it rehearsed .By the middle half of second time she stopped dancing and singing folding herself comfortably in wins arms and now when the movie is on its ending the third time Ice is fast asleep drooling on wins lap her legs on mine.

Although I am a little relieved that I don't have to see the movie forth time after watching it for three times on loop, I am nervous now that it's just me and win before I could avert my eyes a calm smile spread across his face piercing my heart as he stroked Ice's hair ,he caught me staring at him and his smile slipped just as fast as if he forgot I was still there. I abruptly looked at the remote fumbling with it just so I can distract myself.

"Well... Umm.. We should, I mean I should take my leave it was great spending time with - " You? Your family? At your home what am I supposed to say? God! This is embarrassing . "-all of you " Great ,out of everything else you chose to say the lamest words ever.
"thank you for um.. Dinner and letting me stay for the movie. "

He grinned as if amused .
"Wanna have coffee or tea before you leave." He suddenly looks nervous his eyes flickered everywhere except at me"I.. I think I owe you an explanation. If you don't want to stay it's okay too. I am sure you have other things to do "

Explanation? explanation about what! I wanted to ask this second but I refrained "I'll like to have coffee"

He looks at me eyes wide as if he didn't expected me to say yes .
"Okay great"
He tries to get up then remembers that Ice is still sleeping on his lap.

"You should put her to bed first, I'll switch of the television"
I press the red button on the remote still in my hand and the room fell silent, so silent that I could hear my own heartbeat.

Win takes Ice in his arms carefully cradling her head Ice curls up on him resting her cheeks on his shoulder she looks so peaceful.

While waiting for win to come down stairs I go through the pictures on the wall that I have been iching to see since I came here but I thought it would be awkward if I were gwaking at wins family pictures like I am doing right now.
I don't now how but I can tell who is baby win, Ice when she was a baby win's parent are looking so young, They look so happy together,A Happy family a twinge of jealousy passed through me and I hated myself for it cause even though I didn't have it to even think of loosing something so precious should be so painful I never asked win how he was holding up if there was anything I could help him with.
There's this candid picture where he is in the mid air holding a trophy and I assume who are his parents are looking fondly at him , he looks so happy his hairs are short but not too short to let them flow in the air God.. His laugh is so free so real..

"That was when I won the art competition I was eleven that's also the day when mom and dad told me that I'll soon be a big brother, I'll have a baby sister they said " Win said as he made his way towards me.

"I didn't know them but even I can tell they loved you, so much "

It didn't him long to come back after tugging Ice to sleep in her room which I am guessing is upstairs possibly near wins room not that I know where's win's room is.
