Huey and Huelene agreed to spend the night at Ebony's place so that Huelene could get some rest. Ebony didn't want Huelene to have to sleep in an uncomfortable position because she and Huey were going to drive back to Oklahoma.

Nicole had returned home from work and met Huey as she walked in the door. To settle his nerves, Huey went outside and smoked once again. He knew it wasn't Huelene when he heard the door open from behind him. He knew it was Ebony when he smelled a special type of perfume. She gave him a bad vibe, but not in a threatening way.

"I'll put the smoke out," Huey said putting his cigarette out.

"Thank you!" he heard her sternly say as she stood by him.

He sighed and tried to inhale the lingering scent.

"I have a question for you," Ebony said as Huey smirked.

"You have a question for me?" Huey asked a bit shocked.

"Yes, is that so wrong? You've been questioning me all day, I think it's fair for me to question you," Ebony said crossing her arms.

"You're right, my bad," Huey apologized.

"What's your question?" he asked.

"What is so special about Oklahoma?" Ebony asked confused.

"What do you mean?" Huey asked trying to see where she was getting at.

"What I mean is...Jazmine was always crying about not making it to Oklahoma and I just want to know why it was so special to her?" Ebony simplified.

____________________________

Ever since we were little Jazmine had always talked about going to Oklahoma. I always wondered why the place was so special to her. There wasn't anything to do in Oklahoma.

I remember I decided to ask her one day when we were laying in my bed one weekend.

She didn't have anything to do and I didn't have anything to do, so she came over to hang out with me. We just laid in my bed and looked up at the ceiling the whole time.

She and I were going back and forth with questions since we were so bored.

"If you could be any animal in the world, what would you be?" she asked me.

"I would want to be a black panther," I answered.

"Why a black panther?" she simply asked.

"It's just a symbol of bravery, and I feel like that's how I represent myself. A lot of people are scared to do certain things in life and I feel like I have the courage to push through with it," I explained.

"That's a great representation," she said.

"What animal do you want to be?" I asked.

"I want to be a unicorn," she answered as I looked at her funny.

"Something realistic," I corrected as she sighed.

"Fine, I want to be a horse," she said as I was surprised.

"I thought you were going to try and be a pony," I said laughing a little.

"I thought about it but ponies aren't as active as horses are. I want to run around in the fields with all the other horses and we can live life in peace," she explained.

"You know if humans catch you they're going to have the worst intentions for you for their own good," I warned.

"Huey, shut up! Quit restoring to cons of being a horse," she said shushing me.
