Huey was on the drive to pay a visit to Dr. James Anderson. As he was driving he was in deep thinking about everything. He took in a lot of information about Jazmine and he didn't know how much he could take before he broke down.
It wasn't healthy! He had to let it out but he couldn't. The times when he wanted to cry he wouldn't. He would restrain himself so he could be strong.
Huey didn't know if it was worth being strong at this point. It felt as if Dr. Anderson had taken everything away from him. The future that he had pictured for himself was ripped into pieces and burned.
It was never going to happen!
He got to live his life but not the way he wanted to. He was a little upset with Jazmine for making that mistake that caused him, hers, and Huelene's future.
Even though she invested the money she earned into him he still wasn't satisfied. Life wasn't the same when she left.
Everything started to go downhill. First, Jazmine left, then everybody hated him, Grandad was sick and he passed on not long after, Riley stayed and helped a little with the bills until he decided to move back to Chicago and stay with Aunt Cookie, and he was reverting back to his old ways.
He was always smoking, and having sex with other women, then he started drinking, and he was having trouble with his classes.
He started to do better when he felt like Jazmine was spiritually talking to him. It drove him to be a better man and move on, graduate as a lawyer, get a well-paying job, starts a family, and make a memory of himself.
Huey knew for a fact he didn't fail at life. He might have hit rock bottom at one point but he was able to get back up.
After all that he and Jazmine had been through, he didn't like that she left. They went through thick and thin from the beginning of their relationship and no girl he had ever had a relationship with could compare to him and Jazmine's bond.
She knew for a fact he would have dropped everything to make sure she was cared for.

Winter had just recently arrived, and it was already getting cold. Jazmine and I had always struggled to pay bills from the beginning, so we decided it would be better if we removed several payments from the equations that we didn't think we needed.
One of those payments happened to be the gas bill. So we didn't use any hot water or the A/C since it was hot outside at the time. But when winter came around we soon realized that it was a mistake to cut the natural gas off.
One morning I woke up to Jazmine being sick.
We were both in the bathroom getting ready and she was brushing her teeth. I started to observe her to see she looked pale. Her eyes were droopy, her nose was practically red, and she kept sniffling and coughing.
When she intended to spit the toothpaste out, she ended up sneezing.
"Bless you!" I said.
"Thank you!" she mumbled.
She started coughing and I just looked at her funny. When she stopped I showed some concern.
"You alright?" I asked as she nodded her head.
She sneezed and started coughing once again and mucus came out of her nose and she was slightly holding her throat. She leaned over and grab some tissue to wipe her nose and threw it away in the trash.
