"Look Freeman, do you have any serious questions about Jazmine and me, other than on how I fell in love with her?" James asked a bit bored.

"As a matter of fact, I do have a serious question," Huey said giving James a serious look.

"And what would that be?" James sarcastically asked.

"When did you start sleeping with Jazmine?" Huey sternly asked slightly balling up his fist.

"Sleeping as in having sex?" James smirked.

Huey didn't answer and just glared at him. James knew that Huey wanted to know about his and Jazmine's sex life, and he was waiting for the right time to get under his skin.

Once I convinced Jazmine to stop working night shifts, almost every night she would come over to my penthouse so I could tutor her on being a doctor and learning the importance of medicine.

I feel it's better to have a mindset on what you're going to be dealing with when you get to school rather than being surprised with what the professors hit you with throughout the semester.

When I first started medical school it was hard for me to catch on to many things. I found that it is easier to study in advance what you're possibly going to be learning in school. It's one of the reasons why I was able to graduate early.

If you look into the medical field and do your research it's easier to get your paper or presentation done if you already know everything about the topic. Plus you also have those before you who give you the inside scoop on what they had to do their research on and what hands-on learning you had to prepare for.

College is really all about having your connections and resources. And that's what I was trying to teach Jazmine.

She wanted to start school and get the college experience, so before she went I tried to prep her. She could possibly get an academic scholarship, apply for grants, or just get a loan.

When Jazmine and I got off of work, I drove her back to my place so I could help her study. She had her pink journal and colorful pens to take down notes, and I went to go pull out some books I bought that related to medicine.

We were in the kitchen studying since I already had a bunch of papers on my desk.

I bought these a while back when I was in college and I decided to keep them because I personally know I can forget a thing or two when it comes to medicine and hospitalizing people and so I like to look back at the books.

Since we're still stuck back in the old-school way of learning, we should go by the books. I pulled two or three books I read in college and laid them on the counter for Jazmine. I opened all of them to specific pages on what she was taking notes on.

Another note is to always have your notes ready before you go to school. If the teacher is talking about the subject, you can be one of those know-it-all students who actually did the research and have notes on the topic instead of looking like a clueless dumbass the whole entire class.

Participation can be a key grade in your classes because it lets the professor know you're invested in their lesson plan and that you're actually trying to thrive in your future profession.

"Okay I'm going to say a few of the keywords we've gone over just to see if you've been paying attention," I said.

"Hit me!" she said readily.

"Benign," I said.

"Non-cancerous," she answered

"Edema," I said.
