Meadow adjusted the belt of her jeans, tucking her shirt into it, allowing it to hang over slightly as she then grabbed her cardigan from her chair as she threw it on with a sigh. She grabbed her mini backpack from her desk as she threw it onto her back, grabbing her phone quickly as she then hurried out the house, not even stopping to wave goodbye to her roommate.
"Meadow!" Nicole shouted, Meadow almost jumped out her skin from the sudden surprise of Nicole's voice behind her, she rested her hand over her chest, feeling her heart race as she turned to face her. She narrowed her brows together in a slight frown.
"Stop doing that!" She hissed back at her as she slid her keys into the tiny front pocket of her jeans before she walked towards Nicole. Nicole simply chuckled at her reaction.
"Where were you yesterday? You actually got out of bed and didn't text me?" Nicole questioned with a slight glare on her face, brushing her long hair from her shoulders.
"Sorry, I didn't know I need to keep you updated on every movement I make." Meadow replied sarcastically with a slight eye roll. She folded her arms across her chest in a huff.
"It would've been nice to know since you were out with someone else anyway. Who is she?" Nicole hissed back at her as she rested her hand on her hip.
"Who?" Meadow asked, trying to act clueless to the situation. She could feel her heart dropping to her stomach just from Nicole's question.
"The girl I saw you out with!" Nicole snapped, grabbing her phone swiftly from her bag as she swiped through her photos before holding it up to Meadow's face. Meadow clenched her fist tightly, her nails digging into her skin, the lies trapped in her throat as she searched for an excuse. She couldn't figure out what made her so scared of being honest about how she knew Keegan, they aren't dating. They aren't even friends.
"She's just...someone I met from work.." Meadow lied, adverting her eyes away from the screen as she swallowed, hoping Nicole would believe her obvious lie. Nicole pulled her phone away, looking back at her suspiciously but didn't have the energy to press her on it further.
"Whatever, it would've just been nice to know." Nicole sighed, shaking her head a little as she slipped her phone back into her bag. Meadow slowly opened her hand, looking down at the indents from her nails, running her finger across them slowly as a small sigh escaped her lips. She began to follow beside Nicole as they walked down the street.
"Any update on the dating situation?" Meadow asked, trying to change the situation, she suddenly noticed a huge smile appearing on Nicole's face as she turned to look over at her.
"Yes actually, I have a date with a guy from tinder this week!" She giggled, twirling a strand of her hair round her finger happily. Meadow smiled weakly at her as she rubbed the back of her neck gently.
"I'm glad to see you happy, maybe he could be the one!" Meadow added happily. Nicole froze for a moment at Meadow's comment before she chuckled, covering her mouth with her hand.
"I'm not bothered about finding the one right now! I'm just happy to be getting laid!" Nicole chuckled, Meadow blinked at her repeatedly for a moment as she took a slight step back.
"I mean, if that's what makes you the happiest Nic." Meadow said with a slight smile. Nicole raised an eyebrow at her slightly, glancing her up and down for a moment before resting her weight on her hip, folding her arms across her chest. Her arms sat comfortably across her breasts. Meadow had always been jealous of Nicole's chest size, even in high school she had envy about Nicole's body compared to hers.
"When was the last time you got laid?"
"W..What!? Why do you ask!?" Meadow stuttered nervously, a soft blush showing on her cheeks, warming her up as she avoided eye contact with her. Nicole smirked at her reaction, inching closer towards her.
